Voicebox's stream, despite it being a server full of people, was far more interesting. Sevtech for example was more interesting because Tomato actually bothered to learn the modpacks early game.
Puffball mushrooms are awesome. I have a picture of one that I harvested - In the picture it's eclipsing the size of a watermelon beside it. They're delicious too. Also they're not poisonous - they just start to quickly rot as they age more than a couple days old and immediately attract insects that burrow inside them.
It's funny because copper isn't rare if you know where to look (aka not bauxite), and its easy to spot outside of plains and forests. Tin is the real resource that sucks to find, since it doesn't ever spawn above ground deposits.
Just wanna say that copper is like hands down the easiest metal to get lol, been playing for 20 hours now and 3 of it was getting copper the other 17 has been me slamming my head into a brick wall trying to find tin so I can make bronze

Not only he chose to play on the hardest difficulty, which reduces surface copper deposits, he spent a long time in a zone with a surface of bauxite rock, which never has copper and Tamto expected to find exposed veins in mountains, which is a pretty terrible choice due to how rare those are. Doesn't help that he was so terrified of everything that he never ventured too far.
