Just recieved my first pair today and horribly disappointed on how inaccurate and misleading this commercial was. Mine opens approximately half of what is shown and definitely would not fit around a bowling ball or watermelon. I ordered the extra large diabetic socks (not the compression ones).
I can only assume they started to use some other design or manufacturing process because the top part limits it from stretching now.
Edited to add... Just measured with a ruler. These now have a max circumference of 20 inches not 30 as the website and ad implies... Bowling balls and water melons have a circumference of 25+ on the low end... And realistically most are 27-30 inches... I cannot recommend buying this product if you have large legs
Mine would Def fit a bowling ball or a single serve watermelon or large cantaloupe. My last order was for 2022 Christmas patterns. Diabetic support. I agree viasox compression are much smaller diameter. But different purpose. Different rate of compression.

I actually know this guy. He lives in a 3br, 2.5 bath house 2 houses down that used to belong to our friends. They have a brown cockapoo and the general consensus is that the wife beats him. Seriously. Most of us in the neighborhood try to be nice to him because we feel bad for him.
Why cant we see YOU put them on?
That's what I want to see. so many diabetic socks focus on the stretchy top, and forget about the foot area. with diabetes / nephropathy if the toe seam isn't well done. it can cause sharp pain. If the foot area does not stretch much, that can also cause problems. I have tried so many, and haven't found one that gets it right. I would love to see a pair of Merino wool hiking socks done properly for diabetics.
The guy on this commercial is a camp. Is he an actor, comic? What other work has he done?

Hey, He's an actor who we got to use our socks and he loved them so we made a commercial. As far as his other work we're not sure.
@@Viasox Thanks for reply. Excellent choice to represent the product. The fact that he REALLY LIKES THE PRODUCT is evident. Are you free to reveal his name so I can research what other work he's done. It's a hobby of mine to see actors I relate to in different roles.

I like how they call them diabetic socks, but they really are fat-people sucks, because they try to counter the poor circulation in your legs due to the fact that you are extremely obese. So, stop buying socks and start walking and lay off the donuts!
I saw this commercial for the first time today. I LOVE THIS GUY!! I want to hug him. This commercial was informative, funny and very convincing. I don't even have diabetes, but sometimes I will get a pair of socks, and when I take them off my ankles feel like a thousand bees are stinging me when the blood starts circulating again!! I am going to buy a pair of these for myself, even though I don't suffer from diabetes. Excellent commercial, and kudos for not using insulting language or using fear to sell your product. I already know I'll be a happy customer. Thank you.
I doh't feel the need to hug him but t'would be nice to see more of him. He comes on like a stand up comic. The folks at the ad agency were spot-on with his outfits. The entire commercial was perfection and very enjoyable.

The miracle socks they say they are they are not they roll down and do not stay in place end for the price I can get other ones to do the same exact thing now I will say they’re soft and very comfortable that’s all it is because you have to realize for the money that you’re spending for one pair you can definitely find other ones that will give you more than one for the amount of money.
I've only ever had one pair that rolled or slid down. "Black, orange, white CATS. The first pair I got was crew, but knee high stay up just fine. Three years of 24/7, and I and my diabetic and foot specialists love them. They say at this point, this is all I need. Anything that prevents yet another Rx, is good with me.

I love my Viasox! No binding, easy to put on & they stay up! I wear a AFO so I need knee socks between my calf and the brace. For at home, i have the ankle sticks. For going out, I have the knee socks. I cannot think of anything I would recommend more highly than Viasox!!
How do I wash my viasoxs?
