Bambi 2 is a midquel, and it takes place after Bambi's mother's death and before he reaches adulthood!

Dutchess and Kay, at the beginning of the midquel, Friend Owl made a condolence visit, which was a very considerate thing to do! We also get to see Bambi's relationship with his father, and despite the different challenges they faced, his father ALWAYS loved his son!

Эм... Вообще-то у него только мать убили! А отец осталс жив! Когда стреляли в его маму, там не было видно и показано того, что его отца подстрелили и убили! Было только показано и видно, что его маму подстрелили и убили! Так что его отца не убили! Так что без мамы, но с отцом!
This is about The Great Prince's behavior after his wife was killed! He was taught that it's the doe's job to raise fawns, and to shut off his feelings! When he tried to send Bambi away with his mother's childhood friend, Mena, Bambi thought he didn't love him! He told Friend Owl: "This is my fault. Bambi needs a mother. A prince should NOT be raising a child!" Thankfully, that didn't last too long! At the end of the first film, The Great Prince retired the same day he became a grandfather, and he died a short time later!

Another TH-cam video had a comment that said Bambi had his father's eyes, and I answered that I would hope so, since they're father and son! His friends, Thumper and Flower taught Bambi to be brave, while his father trained him to be smart and to defend himself! Twice, he pummeled the bully deer, Ronno, and he even kicked one of Man's hunting dogs off the mountain! At the end of the midquel, Bambi 2, his father admitted that when he was his age, he was a lot like him!

It was an extremely stressful job, and it kept him away from his family, but he was always nearby - especially since he was standing on top of the hill watching the celebration of Bambi's birth, and all the forest animals visiting and congratulating his mother! She sacrificed her own life to save her son, and his father took him in! His father was taught that raising fawns is the doe's job and to shut off his feelings, but he couldn't do that after losing his wife, and nearly losing his son! After Bambi nearly died when he fell off the cliff, he was forced to realize that he needed to be a REAL father, and he ALWAYS loved his son more than anything else!
