Chouta's mother is in a cult where she believes offering money and body will save their soul. Chouta witnessed what happened since he was a child and he kind of have been scarred by it. What Shibuki was doing brought back those memories. Shibuki does not know what Chouta is thinking but knows that he is mentally weak and possible to manipulate him to her side when she needs to.
I think Chouta got a bit traumatised by that memory that’s why he was still a virgin but he accepted to give his virginity to this woman like his mom could have sex with the chief leader in hope it will save his friends
You think the horse masks were to keep the players from seeing that they are human? The taggers were also playing for their survival, but the players didn’t know that until they won. Giving a tagger a face makes them human, which means there is the chance to reason with them. Giving them a mask makes them appear less human and makes the players want to strive to win rather than trying to save the taggers as well. I don’t know. Just a thought. It’s amazing what little details can make the biggest changes to the game.
One thing I don't understand about this game and the taggers... Weren't the players that were the taggers guaranteed to die and there was no way to win and survive? Even if they successfully defended the safe room... They'd have died in the explosion anyway.
This is probably my favorite episode in the 1st half of this season. IDK if y'all watched it yet but I will admit that episode 4 is what I consider the slowest but after that the season really jumps off.
ALICE IN BORDERLAND is such a masterpiece, I’m waiting for s2 to be released. I recommend watching SWEET HOME too, it isn’t game genre but it’s thriller, supernatural, mystery (adapted from a Korean manga). These two series are my favorite in absolute ~

Really? I'd say Episode 3 is by far my favorite episode of the entire season. It's so jarring for events like that to happen so soon into a show.
