I think that it is awesome how Ricky basically just gets drunk and high on every single podcast. You can see how he gets more faded toward the end of each podcast.
None of the characters get high or drunk. They are acting they are straight at all times. A fact I learned one day, while watching a behind the scenes documentary.

In this instance did nothing to do with a casting director, Ricky and Julian worked together on movie that's available on Netflix I believe it's called the last Shout, can't say that it's any good camera apparently they were in film school or something together this certainly bears more research but the point is they knew each other from early on , as well as Richard Leahy from way back , and how they got bubbles into it I don't know
They are there own casting directors lol even in most of there movies
