Amazing, the positioning is delicate and PRECISE, but the brute force to get those giant, and very stiff parts, into those precise positions is totally awesome. Doctor George Whitehead
GREAT TO SEE WIRE SPLICING, CARRIED OUT BY HAND, IS NOT A DEAD TRADE, WELL DONE, PLEASE PASS IT ON... I STILL DO ALL MY OWN ON THE BOAT... EXCELLENT VIDEO, STAY SAFE
On huge cables at start: OSHA smosha! Safer to roof houses, fell trees, or work late night gas station bodega, I imagine. JFC. Smaller: beautiful teamwork.
Les employés font des épissures. C'est la même chose avec les câbles ''marin''. Mais frappé les câbles d'acier de la sorte n'est vraiment pas une bonne idée. Ils font des micros brisures qui affaiblissent le câbles.
I don’t think we were lied to. The machines in the first scene (men) are pretty amazing. I haven’t seen a machine yet that can do that. If you have ever worked with wire rope anything you do with it is amazing and more so the bigger it gets. The crimping presses are pretty amazing also. Think of the pressure it takes to compress the sleeves to get them tight enough to withstand the tensile pull that the cable that size would undergo.
Fascinating! That's what you call "working" for a living. Thanks for sharing.
Where is the HUGE cable shown in the thumbnail?
they do that every time.
It is just a bait. I just down vote those channels, block them and move on.
Это видео только для тех кто разбирается в такелажном деле . Мастера достойные уважения особенно при ручной заплетке !
Amazing👍
Very interesting
Quite surprised so much is done manually and so physically demanding.
Видел как плетут пауки из троса в 100ми.У мужиков руки как у горил,накачанные.

it's too laborious work but after all, came up with durable product.

I bet the first guy does not have a gym membership😊
Ha ha, that’s exactly what I was thinking 👍
Doubt they could build a gym strong enough.
Imagine teaching these guys how too fight

Too fast.......like when people put up things to read and you're half way through reading and they take it away! Very frustrating.

One day work is worth a week
Most of the video featured splicing the end of ropes. I still want to know how these ropes are made. The headline is a lie.
Pretty cool footage, but I had to leave after a couple minutes.....that music is terrible!!

Deadline the annoying music

Dont ya just love how we are lied to in the fake piks in the thumbnail on videos lately? Getting old

@marvinostman522 absolutely, I have worked with wire a tad. Thing is, the thumbnail is way over the top just for clicks.
This makes me grind my teeth
The cuts and skipping around make this unwatchable. Garbage.
