Nice trip. Finally somebody, who has planed trip in Slovenia without lake Bled and Postojnska jama. I`m glad, that you have visited Goriška Brda - Slovenian Tuscany - with view on Gorizia in Italy and Nova Gorica in Slovenia, side by side. Village Šmartno has name of St. Martin. And because of wineyards in Slovenia they are plenty of them. Pitty, that you haven`t visited Ptujska gora near Ptuj. There is the biggest Gothic church (built in 1410) in Slovenia with some interesting history. In church is relief with St. Mary and under her coat are aristocracy, not just from Slovenia, but also emperor of Holy Roman empire - Sigismund of Luxemburg and his wife empress Barbara Celjska.
