Thank you so much for this Gabe! The connection of Hanukkah to Daniel 11 is something I have been slowly going through this Hanukkah season. Trying to identify the various historical kings of the north and south has been a task. This study cleared it right up for me and then some! It is a God send for me! Truly Masterful as well. I really appreciate teachings like this and I am now excited to hear you will be doing more teachings on Daniel as I am currently studying this book! Looking forward to learning much more from you! Please keep up the great work. Blessings to you and the team. You guys are awesome!

Lived in the Old City of Jerusalem for a few years. Wandered the Temple Mount. Puzzled over Matthew 24 often. Thank you for the history lesson. Always sensed horror ahead, but not from whence it will come. You''re filling in the picture, but something is off, I think. Not sure what. Thank you again.

I'm almost halfway through the teaching, Gabe, and I'm astonished at the historical details you're including. Details I had no idea about! I have never heard anyone else teach these chapters the way you are 😮. This is extremely helpful for us to help us understand present and future events in the Middle East, as we approach the revealing of the man of sin prior to the revealing of the Jewish Son of the God of Israel.
I pray you will continue opening the prophetic Scriptures in the way you are. Thank you, dear brother. Maranatha

Thank you so much Gabe and all of FAI. These videos on the wire are so helpful. You’re understanding of history inspired and continues to subspecies me to learn more myself. Also thanks to those in the comment section on the lives stream. I’ve seen people get so nasty over simple disagreements.
Would love an episode on the Orince of the Covenant.
Would also love to hear anyone’s thoughts on the two witnesses. I have my own and am going to share that soon, but I wanna hear more discussions on them by others. Everything from who they likely are and when they are empowered (first or second half). I may start sharing clips of these on my channel if you don’t mind.
Again thank you sir and thank you FAI! And all the others!
    Maranatha friends ❤

I don’t know if you can answer this question for me Gabe or if it’s a matter of conviction…..Rev 13:10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword……I know we as Christians are to be a light to the world and share the message of the gospel of Christ but if/when we enter the tribulation and we/families are being killed does this prohibit us from fighting back physically against this demonic onslaught or will it be allowed? I really struggle with this. A part of me feels it would be no different as if someone were to attack my family now I would not hesitate to defend my family but do different rules apply in the Tribulation? Thank you and God bless you and Joel and the entire FAI Ministry for your teaching and faithfulness.

      Yes good question!

    • @gabecaliguiri
      @gabecaliguiri 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

Good question. I think how we react to violence during that time period will be circumstantial. Dan 7 makes it clear that the little horn is given authority to "conquer the saints," that is to martyr us. So attempting to resist him or rebel against him by force is both futile and counterproductive, as "not loving our lives unto death" is how we "overcome the world" during that time. That said, it will be a messy and chaotic period, and I don't believe we suddenly become pacifists. As far as I know, the same principles would apply in terms of self-defense against those who are not given governing authority, especially in regards to defending vulnerable people in our care.

    ### Abstract: Imminence, Tribulation, and the False Claims of Fulfillment
In **Matthew 10:23**, **Matthew 16:28**, and **Mark 9:1**, Jesus tells His followers that they will **see** His **coming** and the **Kingdom of God** within their lifetime. He also speaks of **tribulation** and the need for them to endure. These verses suggest that **Jesus** was proclaiming an imminent arrival of the **Kingdom** and an **end-time** event during the lives of His disciples. The idea that these things would happen soon is further emphasized in **Matthew 24**, where Jesus describes the **tribulation** and states that **this generation** would not pass before these things come to pass (Matthew 24:34). This directly points to the **immediacy** of the events in question.
The **Book of Revelation** similarly echoes this theme. In Revelation 1:1-3, it states that the events described in the vision are **"shortly to come to pass"**, with the time being **"at hand."** These phrases emphasize that the **fulfillment** of these events would take place very soon. In **Revelation 22:10**, the angel tells John, “**Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand**.” This reinforces the idea that the **prophecies** were to be fulfilled quickly, within the time frame of the first century, confirming the **immediacy** Jesus and His disciples expressed in their own teachings.
Furthermore, in **1 Corinthians 15:24-28**, **Paul** emphasizes that Jesus will ultimately be **subject to God**, who gave Him authority. This further supports the idea that Jesus is **distinct** from God and will submit to God’s will at the culmination of all things. Additionally, Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 15:51, where he states, "**We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed**," implies that the **end times** and the **resurrection** were **imminent**-an expectation shared by the early Christians. They believed that not all would die before experiencing the coming of the **Kingdom** of God.
Yet, despite these clear teachings and expectations, the **Kingdom of God** did not arrive as promised within that **generation**.
In the Old Testament, God's Word gives clear warnings about false prophets, even those who perform signs and wonders. While miracles and signs may appear impressive, they are not a guarantee that the prophet is speaking truth. If their message does not align with God's will, they must be rejected. Two important passages highlight this:
Deuteronomy 13:1-5 clearly states that even if a prophet or dreamer performs a sign or wonder, their message must not lead people to worship other gods or deviate from God's commandments. If they do so, they are false prophets, and God's people must not follow them:
"If a prophet or one who foretells by dreams appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, ‘Let us follow other gods’ (gods you have not known) ‘and let us worship them,’ you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. That prophet or dreamer must be put to death, because they preached rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. They tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.” (Deuteronomy 13:1-5, NIV)
This passage teaches that performing miracles is not enough. The prophet's message must be consistent with God's commands, and if they encourage worship of other gods or disobedience to God's Word, they are false and must be rejected.
Deuteronomy 18:22 provides a critical test for determining whether a prophet speaks on behalf of God. If their prophecy does not come to pass, they are not speaking from God:
“If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.” (Deuteronomy 18:22, NIV)
This verse reinforces the principle that the truthfulness of a prophet's message is proven by its fulfillment. If a prophet's predictions do not come true, then they are to be considered false. The failure of their prophecy is evidence that they are not speaking with God's authority, no matter how miraculous their signs may appear.
Together, these passages make it clear: Signs and wonders are not the definitive markers of truth. The truth lies in whether the prophet's message aligns with God's commandments and whether their prophecies come to pass. If a prophet's words do not prove true or they lead others astray, they are false and must be rejected, no matter the miracles they perform. The Old Testament provides this stern warning to guard against deception, making it clear that God's people are not to follow any prophet who strays from His Word.

I'm not sure in what ways your comment is relevant to Gabe's teaching on Daniel 10 and 11 🤔
