We do freak out on just about everything we find haha I wouldn't get excited over a dead body though.. I would handle it the best I could. Hopefully nothing like this happens

@@LostWolf911 Unfortunately after being in water for even a lil while, no fingerprints can be found on guns, knives, etc and any tissue or blood would either wash off or be contaminated to badly to get accurate DNA from. So although I think they should be wearing gloves, it wouldn't matter as far as ruining evidence from touching something. Proof of a crime will come mostly from matching ballistics or serial numbers can trace back to a possible owner if a gun is found. A knife MIGHT have blood or tissue under the hilt or handle when taken apart, but most likely it would be gone after sitting in water or ruined as far as being able to match it DNA wise. 🙁 But I commend the guys for any time they assist police in trying to find evidence. They do a huge service to the world when they clean up the waters, but it can be dangerous at times n they get my utmost respect for all they do. ☺🏅🤗

@@spencerandersen7259 I definitely agree with the Non Venomous Water Snake, but you should never just go by the eyes. Copperheads are a good example, they can be seen with both slitted and round pupils depending on the lighting.

As for the snake, I’ve seen lots of comments. I want to set the record straight that it’s a banded water snake. I zoomed in on the head and was able to confirm it. Pro tip: round head and pupils = non venomous. Triangular head and cat’s eye pupils = venomous. This rule does not apply for South America or Asia, please be careful. So Jake, you were fine.
The family Elapidae -- which includes cobras, mambas and taipans -- includes some of the deadliest snakes on the planet, all of which have round pupils. Additionally, sea snakes have incredibly powerful venom and round pupils. In North America, where the myth of the correlation between pupil shape and venom may have originated, coral snakes have round pupils.

Honestly doesn't look like a copperhead, looks more like a type of water snake, but without any better pictures/ video its hard to tell.

Without seeing the head its hard to say if its a water snake or a cottonmouth.
It’s a banded water snake, I zoomed in on the head. It had round pupils, meaning non venomous.
Pupils mean nothing just like “triangular heads”
No bands just checkers diamondback water snake but u were very close!
