I hope it’s just the editing, because I really enjoyed Kitty in her original season. You mention that the banter is typical of the UK, but banter exists everywhere and has its own cultural cues. I think the other international queens don't show it out of respect and to avoid misrepresenting their backgrounds. But Kitty doesn't seem to make any adjustments at all, even if the language of the show and her previous appearance with Ru and Michelle as judges already privileges her. At least you can see Alyssa and Kween and Pythia doing some diplomatic work, but Kitty doesn't exert any effort.
In a tweet, even Pythia said that the fabric Nehelly got was very hard to work with and even she (pythia) would panic. Said so, even if it's a tough competition, Nehelly didn't give up and continued to slay. That's resilience
As I sew a little bit, I follow a few people who construct garments. And recently, one of them who does a lot of special events dresses like prom dress had a similar fabric. She sews for a living. She was b*tching about that type of fabric in a YT short. She said it’s a pain. And she wasn’t in a competition setting with very little time to execute it.

At this point I think this was a perfect time to send Gala home, she deserved to be in the bottom this week and if I saw one more episode of them putting her in the bottom unfairly I was going to lose it. Sending her all the love!!!
Gala deserved de bottom but also deserved the recognition she didn’t have, being robbed from the top twice. Pithya was the winner on this episode, but the favoritism with kitty and her basic ass is insane.
I don't agree with what you said about nelly and the environment she was going to find herself catapulted into. She did AMAZING under stress in Drag Race Italia and nobody even dreamt of treating her like some of these girls do. So yes, she's fit to compete, just not fit to being offended on an hourly basis.
Can I understand that Kitty's environment shaped her and how that affects the way she communicates? Yes Can I understand her wanting more TV time, which means starting drama? Yes For me reading is playfulness of both sides, common understanding, which I unfortunately cannot find here. This makes comments of Kitty and Kween Kong tone deaf in this situation. Which sums up for me this season perfectly. Tone deaf for any other culture than English speaking countries. I feel like global all stars should make a point of appreciating all countries cultures that are represented here. Instead RuGirls are getting artificially pushed to the top alongside lazy stereotypes (margherita pizza, tacos, Swedish chef). Yes stereotypes can be played up to some extend to be funny, but imo it's not happening here. Global all stars feel like ordinary season of all stars with international queens getting trampled by not being from English speaking country. Instead of showcasing inclusivity and cultural appreciation it's blatant display of discrimination. At the end, I feel bad for every queen here to some degree. Top runners will get hate for coming off ostentatious (which I find at least partially true) and ESL queens are just being dismissed for their differences. Normally I wouldn't care, but if we are to showcase queer culture on global level, than we need to uphold some standards. On your words about Nelly being too sensitive, I don’t believe we should be using drag as an excuse to be rude. There’s a line between reading and rudeness. Just because you have a wig on your head, you don’t get to bully like Kween and Kitty do.

Definitely. Tbh, Kitty did well, but I enjoyed Pythia and Nelly better. I feel they were funnier. That being said, we saw an edited version of the Snatch Game. So maybe overall she did more than them?! 😎 Well I sure hope so cause otherwise, it just confirms what we’ve been seeing since the beginning. Now for once, her runway was alright. And we know that she’s judged differently. Anyhow, still happy for Pythia who went for it, made some adjustments last minute and killed it; and if course she gave on the runway. And I’m ecstatic for Nelly, who’s been deserving of a win but it seems she always end up being the bridesmaid and not the bride. But we see her. And I’m glad she took that margarita pizza non sense and used it for her advantage.
@@gmrr21 Well there’s some truth to that, I indeed do like them more than Kitty, that’s for sure. Kitty is not really likeable on the show. Period. That being said, at least, this time, even though I would have chosen a different winner, I’m not outraged or mad that she won. Her runway was decent for once. And we only saw an edited portion of the Snatch Game. So maybe, just maybe 🤞🏽, what we saw was the best of Pythie and Nelly, and Kitty maintained the same level of “funny” so I’d understand her taking it. Let’s not forget that she’s been given quite a few hall passes so far, as well as praises that weren’t totally justified, at least as per the edit. Anyhow, overall, I’m ok with her winning even though if it were my decision, as per the edit, I would have most likely given it to Pythia or Nelly. I have to add though this win from Kitty feels more justified than her previous one in my humble opinion. Now, I’ve got to point out that I agree that she did very well. However, I personally didn’t find her performance funny or remotely amusing at all. Humour is highly subjective and often cultural, so I’m aware that this is a huge factor. I’m GenX, I’ve been around a while 🤫. And as a Canadian who has French as a native language, I’ve been exposed to quite a few different types of humour but mainly French Canadian, English Canadian (definitely not the same…), British, French and of course American. They’re all different, and even if you take the cultural aspect out, not everyone enjoys the same type of comedy; for example, some people are into physical stuff and slap comedy, others enjoy flatulence humor, political humor, anecdotal, satires, slapstick comedy, dark comedy, self-deprecating humor, situational, parody, deadpan, etc. Personally speaking, I’m not really into British humor; I can appreciate it, but it’s not my cup of tea so to speak.
In my opinion, Queen Kon was very quick to get angry with Nelly when she spoke about her emotions. It was an intense night, but the way she got so angry without acknowledging the language barrier. Even after never acknowledged it. I think it’s really disrespectful, and yes she’s a drag queen but is being a drag queen an excuse to being rude? There’s definitely a difference between bantering and just being rude. As someone who has a parent who has a language barrier, expressing your emotions in a foreign language is very hard, and the way they just got mad at her without thinking about that is rude, especially given that this is a competition that’s supposed to bring everyone from all franchises together. I don’t think Nelly is sensitive, I don’t think she’s weak, if she was she would have quit the show. I do think that they need to acknowledge the language barrier and be patient with people who don’t speak their same language, or have that level of proficiency.

Actually they're all competing for a crown, if nelly is struggling with language barrier that bad maybe this format is not for her. All the queens came to win and they got no time to be patient or uplift their competitors. It's a competing show not a best friend show 😁

I just finished the episode and I'm getting more pissed off with each episide. Kitty winning? Really? I'm so pissed. If all the international queens get sent home before the ru judged girls, that's when i will stop watching. Im literally only watching to support the international queens.

This has never happened to me before … but I spent the whole episode rolling my eyes over Ru, each time she opened her mouth to speak anything 😒 Like ,,, it was insane to me (!) how she was just mocking on the contestants’ cultures. One thing is cultural appreciation, but it came across as just mocking the non-English native queens Anyway, I’d give Ru a discount tho , coz she comes from an older generation, but still… I’d love to see someone educating her (aka calling her out) for that 😊

And now showing her lack of knowledge/ interest in other cultures. Michelle is somehow capable of staying quite on time with trends, which makes this even more adamant. It just feels unfair to younger queens and younger audiences. It's not that everyone has to be up to date with every tiktok meme, nor that this is a responsibility for older folks to keep up with the ever changing trends. However, it is a responsibility of a judge for competition rooted in popculture.
The joke Pythia's character made about sleeping with his daughter was to risky. Notice when Rupaul warns her to be careful ( about the incest remark ) Pythia just doubled down. One mistake can be the difference between win and high😩

Kitty winning made no sense to me Pythia was clearly the best both on the snatch game and runway how did she not win. Then Kween making that taco comment like no I’m sorry it’s just a miserable watch. I will miss my Mexican sister gala she was so disrespected this season. Kitty gave a safe performance at best I didn’t think she was funny.
to me the worst part of it is when kitty says the things she has said . some of the worst/most rude comments from her (and kween) have been during confessionals . because of that , sometimes it feels much less like "omg queens read eachother backstage all the time at drag shows" and much more like them just being mean to her behind her back. she was not going to see any of those comments so she could not repsond or read back etc . . . it just seems mean spirited. also they needed gala gone bad and the only way they knew to do it was use the most wack lip sync song ever lol

how come kitty won this episode and not phytia?? let's say (!) they were equally good in the SG but kitty's runway was trash compared to phytia's. gala was bottom, alright (this time, but what about the 2 previous ones?) judging is so unfair... come on you could even act like there's no favoritism. this is too much!!! too in your face!!! and phytia's storyline was so clear. she literally listened ru and changed last minute and gave a hell of performance. that's what ru loves best, check DR herstory. how come she was not the winner. what's the deal with Kitty. That lipsync song choice was deranged. It was probably the only song that could have taken Gala out. Gala was my favourite this season. They did her so dirty, but at least everyone got to see what a fierce performer she is.
People were saying that there is Favouritism in Global All stars… i was giving Mama Ru the benefit of the doubt coz we don’t know what goes behind the scenes! However after this episode! There is NO WAY that Kitty won this episode over Pythia!! 😡
I totally understand the sensitivity aspect but most of the things said were just behind her back for the world to see- not to her face or in a room with 8 queens alone, they are talking off in confessionals being big and brave - speaking shit in confessionals as opposed to face to face is really no different than the keyboard warriors who hate on queens in my opinion but i definitely do see the sensitivity apsect
I think Kittys win is not *undeserved*, but with how she has been favoured like crazy, it feels ridiculous to give it to her over Nelly or Pythia. And please, please King Shlong? I hated that.
The top 3 for me were: Pythia, Kween & Nehellenia. They were so quick with their volley (esp Kween&Nelly's interaction) i laughed so hard. I personally didnt find Kitty funny at all. And her taste level needs to be called out. Pythia should have won!!, That edit was so reminiscent of that episode with Q last szn! For once i agree with the bottom 2.
I hear you there. Kitty did well, but I didn’t think it was funny. It was well done. But funny?! I didn’t even smile. But at least for once, her runway was decent. I’m wondering, just wondering, if, maybe, the non edited version of the Snatch Game showed a different light, ie Kitty kept this level of 🙄funny (well for those who find her funny), while Pythia and Nelly might have had peaks and valleys. But we all know the expectations 😬 are different for the RuGirls.
RuPaul has never seemed more her age than this season. Her take on other cultures aren’t necessarily xenophobic/racist(from my perspective at least), but it’s just so rudimentary and childish, it’s actually shocking that production didn’t talk to her beforehand. I hate that the queens have to dumb themselves down nowadays and make themselves clowns instead of actually just being funny/clever, bring back INTELLIGENCE goddamnit😂

The editing choices of this season are not making any sense IMO. It would make more sense seeing vulnerability of certain girls and then them overcome the challenges and getting the satisfaction seeing them win. Why spend so much focus on pythia this episode to not see her win? If not Pythia, I thought Nelly would win, I was genuinely shocked with Kitty being the winner
The Nelly situation, I get the argument that you have to have thick skin to do a competition like this but on the flip side, I could see people thinking they are ready for it but then they get there and the pressure plus the language barriers since it's also speaking outside your language to others that are also speaking a second language, adding to miscommunication, and then she's specifically looking like she's being dog piled on even when what she's saying matches what we are seeing, plus the blatant favoritism, I don't think anyone can really prepare themselves for that. We've seen so many queens lose it over less that we're as outwardly sensitive. Adore, Heidi(low key like half the cast that season), pretty much the entire all winners cast, even on shows like Dragula with Sigourney or Jay Kay. I empathize because you can't really prepare yourself for that. But that's also why I'm not attacking people like Kitty, in hindsight, I bet she's watching like "Omg, I was such a prick!", pressure comes out in crazy ways.
I personally didnt mind Vanity's Snatch game and i think it was VERY Loreen honestly. But thats coming from a Eurovision superfan so like I know Loreen so I can see why Ru mightve not laughed even though I personally laughed more than they did (btw I didn't think it was good but I thought it was better than they were trying to portay her as). Also Ru pronouncing Loreen's name as Lore-ehn instead of Lore-EEn made me go crazy.
I cannot believe the walkthrough with Ru was watched by production who is definitely younger then Ru herself and did not see the blatant xenophobia in that walkthrough. EVERY. SINGLE. *GLOBAL* queen she just asked them to perpetuate steretypes. Like Gala to turn Laura Leon into a mexican telenovela actress , she didnt know Loreen , Vanity the swedish chef mockery was strange too. I still think that we should give a chance to this global season of RPDG because is a huge opportunity for non american queens to have a global platform to shine and let themselves be known at international level. I'm italian our is a very small country and rpdg italia has a very small audience if you compare it to that of other countries and to see so much love for oor queen Nhelly is so amazing that even if the editing is making everything worse that it probably was, even if the episodes are so much shorter that what we abitually see, even if many things are not working as they should, or i would love, I still want to promote this season and tell other people to watch it because is very important for all the queens out there to reach more audiece, to get more work and to shine even more. And if there will be a second season of this global franchise others queens will have this opportunity. So it is right to let be known what we don't like about this program and what we think about it, but it is not right to sank it completely because even if we don't like some parts of it, it is still very important to so many people other than us.

I wish they hadn't done SnatchGame this season. 🙄 The RuGirls( English speaking gurls) are a massive advantage. INSTEAD I wish they would have given them all a similar scenario which they could have pre-recorded and then do a character in their native tongue ESP since humor doesn't translate across languages. Because many of these international queens kiled their OG snatch games. This would have made it a more even playing field and not the stupid humor only RuPaul finds funny. 🙄🙄

This season is just garbage. The judging and favoritism is absolutely sky-high. I am sick and tired of queens (like Kween and Alyssa) playing made up characters so that they can just be themselves. GIIIIIIIIRL. That is NOT what Snatch Game is about. Not to mention that Nellie did so well, and as did Pythia (who made her character in 20 min), and Kitty shouldn't have even been in the top because of that boring performance AND repetitive, boring look. Not a single comment about the same silhouette from her, btw.. Just.. horrible episode overall.

Regular Snatch Game over Snatch Game of Love ANY DAY. Tbh, a regular Snatch Game would have been more fair because it gives the queens actual time to think about their answer, especially for queens who are speaking their second language. The native english speaking queens have an upper hand and it shows. Ru encouraging the culture jokes to relate to the international queens is a little cringy and I really hope they can get more ideas to be inclusive

This show should deconstruct in the cultural approaches as it has done with other topics in the past if you know what I mean. Gala is definitely a standout this season and made us proud as the latino community. She walked so the rest of MX queens can reach even further ❤
I enjoy your reactions on drag race Philippines but global all stars annoyed me from the start. I live in Belgium and Athena was out the first episode but i can't be biased. Eva,Gala,Pythia & Alyssa were my favorites. Miranda was amazing and she was out second. After that Eva was gone. I liked Soa but she did the worst that episode. Gala was my favorite and she is gone now, people told me Pythia is gone next so now i hope Tessa wins or Alyssa and maybe Nelly. It will not be fair if Kitty or Kween won the show because they did the worst in my opinion. The judging was weird this season. ❤
Pythia should of been the winner. But of course Kitty Scott Claus won so that was another easy choice for Ru. As long as Rupaul hosted ur season all u need to be is mediocre to be in the top. Very good points in the beginning of the video! As ANNOYING as Kitty has been on this season to me, you have to be consistent with having an understand of everyone’s backgrounds and experiences. Because you are absolutely right! The British queens READ! Drag queens period, READ. I love Ms Italy but that understanding of drag queen culture needs to be there! Unfortunately things get dictated by these fans that have no idea of real drag culture and interactions outside of this show and get overly sensitive and start freely throwing around the bullying word. That’s what aggravates me!
So at this point this season doesn't worth watching(for me). just sth is not right ,sth doesn't make sense , they were trying so hard to take gala down so if you want to treat her like that why do you invite her? This is the first season I’ve looked spoilers up for in the middle of it. All of my favs are gone, just wanted to know who places where. I’m going to watch peoples reactions still, but the spark for this season just fizzled out with Gala leaving. Worst season ever. 👎🏼 Down Under S1 just climbed out from that position for me.
I think that kind of low hanging fruit ethnic stereotype humor is outdated, and lazy. The fact that it’s celebrated is just evidence that the show needs to change. I also hate Gala’s edit on the show.
i’m not even trying to be that person but after this mistreatment of gala, yes she deserved to be in the bottom but the last 2 episodes i don’t think, the lip sync was neck and neck and they only used gala being in the “bottom” AGAIN as justification no shade vanity deserved bottom twice now too
I agree with some of what you said in the beginning, cultural differences and whatnot, but I think part of the distaste with Kitty's behavior is that it doesn't feel like it's her personality with all the girls, but it seems very targeted towards Nelly. Nelly repeatedly being the butt of the joke might be the reason people think it's more than a simple cultural thing. But at the end of the day it's a reality show, she's obviously putting it on, and it's an edit that dramatizes everything. I don't think Kitty deserves hate for this!
Not a fan of Kitty's runway and how she's a meanie (at least on TV), but ngl, she ate that Snatch Game. But I thought Pythia was gonna win because of Snatch Game and her runway. But I'm not mad that Kitty won. Could've been a double win.
Imo this is the fairest judged episode of the season. Kitty did great in snatch game and had an decent runway. Pythia and Nelly were both also great. Unfortunately, Gala and Vanity were the weakest in snatch game. The song was clearly there to eliminate Gala but at the end of the day, Vanity slayed the lip sync.
Is Gala Varo the only real casualty of Global All Stars? She went home when she should've. Also, tryna think of a season when Ru hasn't had favorites. 🤔 Honestly, when you think of it, this is as standard of a season as it gets. Only difference is how attached we all feel to each country's representive -Our personal biases. P.S. We were also the ones who wanted the judges to make the decisions instead of the Girls. Should we go back to pulling lipsticks? We gotta pick who we want to hate on when the outcome doesn't go in our favor.

I don't agree with what you said about nelly and the environment she was going to find herself catapulted into. She did AMAZING under stress in Drag Race Italia and nobody even dreamt of treating her like some of these girls do. So yes, she's fit to compete, just not fit to being offended on an hourly basis.
Can I understand that Kitty's environment shaped her and how that affects the way she communicates? Yes
Can I understand her wanting more TV time, which means starting drama? Yes
For me reading is playfulness of both sides, common understanding, which I unfortunately cannot find here.
This makes comments of Kitty and Kween Kong tone deaf in this situation.
Which sums up for me this season perfectly. Tone deaf for any other culture than English speaking countries. I feel like global all stars should make a point of appreciating all countries cultures that are represented here. Instead RuGirls are getting artificially pushed to the top alongside lazy stereotypes (margherita pizza, tacos, Swedish chef).
Yes stereotypes can be played up to some extend to be funny, but imo it's not happening here.
Global all stars feel like ordinary season of all stars with international queens getting trampled by not being from English speaking country. Instead of showcasing inclusivity and cultural appreciation it's blatant display of discrimination.
At the end, I feel bad for every queen here to some degree. Top runners will get hate for coming off ostentatious (which I find at least partially true) and ESL queens are just being dismissed for their differences. Normally I wouldn't care, but if we are to showcase queer culture on global level, than we need to uphold some standards.

Definitely. Tbh, Kitty did well, but I enjoyed Pythia and Nelly better. I feel they were funnier. That being said, we saw an edited version of the Snatch Game. So maybe overall she did more than them?! 😎 Well I sure hope so cause otherwise, it just confirms what we’ve been seeing since the beginning. Now for once, her runway was alright. And we know that she’s judged differently.
Anyhow, still happy for Pythia who went for it, made some adjustments last minute and killed it; and if course she gave on the runway. And I’m ecstatic for Nelly, who’s been deserving of a win but it seems she always end up being the bridesmaid and not the bride. But we see her. And I’m glad she took that margarita pizza non sense and used it for her advantage.

@@gmrr21 Well there’s some truth to that, I indeed do like them more than Kitty, that’s for sure. Kitty is not really likeable on the show. Period. That being said, at least, this time, even though I would have chosen a different winner, I’m not outraged or mad that she won. Her runway was decent for once. And we only saw an edited portion of the Snatch Game. So maybe, just maybe 🤞🏽, what we saw was the best of Pythie and Nelly, and Kitty maintained the same level of “funny” so I’d understand her taking it. Let’s not forget that she’s been given quite a few hall passes so far, as well as praises that weren’t totally justified, at least as per the edit. Anyhow, overall, I’m ok with her winning even though if it were my decision, as per the edit, I would have most likely given it to Pythia or Nelly. I have to add though this win from Kitty feels more justified than her previous one in my humble opinion.
Now, I’ve got to point out that I agree that she did very well. However, I personally didn’t find her performance funny or remotely amusing at all. Humour is highly subjective and often cultural, so I’m aware that this is a huge factor. I’m GenX, I’ve been around a while 🤫. And as a Canadian who has French as a native language, I’ve been exposed to quite a few different types of humour but mainly French Canadian, English Canadian (definitely not the same…), British, French and of course American. They’re all different, and even if you take the cultural aspect out, not everyone enjoys the same type of comedy; for example, some people are into physical stuff and slap comedy, others enjoy flatulence humor, political humor, anecdotal, satires, slapstick comedy, dark comedy, self-deprecating humor, situational, parody, deadpan, etc. Personally speaking, I’m not really into British humor; I can appreciate it, but it’s not my cup of tea so to speak.

In my opinion, Queen Kon was very quick to get angry with Nelly when she spoke about her emotions. It was an intense night, but the way she got so angry without acknowledging the language barrier. Even after never acknowledged it. I think it’s really disrespectful, and yes she’s a drag queen but is being a drag queen an excuse to being rude? There’s definitely a difference between bantering and just being rude. As someone who has a parent who has a language barrier, expressing your emotions in a foreign language is very hard, and the way they just got mad at her without thinking about that is rude, especially given that this is a competition that’s supposed to bring everyone from all franchises together. I don’t think Nelly is sensitive, I don’t think she’s weak, if she was she would have quit the show. I do think that they need to acknowledge the language barrier and be patient with people who don’t speak their same language, or have that level of proficiency.

Actually they're all competing for a crown, if nelly is struggling with language barrier that bad maybe this format is not for her. All the queens came to win and they got no time to be patient or uplift their competitors. It's a competing show not a best friend show 😁

The joke Pythia's character made about sleeping with his daughter was to risky. Notice when Rupaul warns her to be careful ( about the incest remark ) Pythia just doubled down. One mistake can be the difference between win and high😩

Kitty winning made no sense to me Pythia was clearly the best both on the snatch game and runway how did she not win. Then Kween making that taco comment like no I’m sorry it’s just a miserable watch. I will miss my Mexican sister gala she was so disrespected this season. to me the worst part of it is when kitty says the things she has said . some of the worst/most rude comments from her (and kween) have been during confessionals . because of that , sometimes it feels much less like "omg queens read eachother backstage all the time at drag shows" and much more like them just being mean to her behind her back. she was not going to see any of those comments so she could not repsond or read back etc . . . it just seems mean spirited.

The Nelly situation, I get the argument that you have to have thick skin to do a competition like this but on the flip side, I could see people thinking they are ready for it but then they get there and the pressure plus the language barriers since it's also speaking outside your language to others that are also speaking a second language, adding to miscommunication, and then she's specifically looking like she's being dog piled on even when what she's saying matches what we are seeing, plus the blatant favoritism, I don't think anyone can really prepare themselves for that. We've seen so many queens lose it over less that we're as outwardly sensitive. Adore, Heidi(low key like half the cast that season), pretty much the entire all winners cast, even on shows like Dragula with Sigourney or Jay Kay. I empathize because you can't really prepare yourself for that.
But that's also why I'm not attacking people like Kitty, in hindsight, I bet she's watching like "Omg, I was such a prick!", pressure comes out in crazy ways.

And if there will be a second season of this global franchise others queens will have this opportunity. This season is just garbage. The judging and favoritism is absolutely sky-high. I am sick and tired of queens (like Kween and Alyssa) playing made up characters so that they can just be themselves. GIIIIIIIIRL. That is NOT what Snatch Game is about. Not to mention that Nellie did so well, and as did Pythia (who made her character in 20 min), and Kitty shouldn't have even been in the top because of that boring performance AND repetitive, boring look. Not a single comment about the same silhouette from her, btw.. Just.. horrible episode overall.

Tbh, a regular Snatch Game would have been more fair because it gives the queens actual time to think about their answer, especially for queens who are speaking their second language. I enjoy your reactions on drag race Philippines but global all stars annoyed me from the start. I live in Belgium and Athena was out the first episode but i can't be biased. Eva,Gala,Pythia & Alyssa were my favorites. Miranda was amazing and she was out second. After that Eva was gone. I liked Soa but she did the worst that episode. Gala was my favorite and she is gone now, people told me Pythia is gone next so now i hope Tessa wins or Alyssa and maybe Nelly. Very good points in the beginning of the video! As ANNOYING as Kitty has been on this season to me, you have to be consistent with having an understand of everyone’s backgrounds and experiences. Because you are absolutely right! The British queens READ! Drag queens period, READ. I love Ms Italy but that understanding of drag queen culture needs to be there! Unfortunately things get dictated by these fans that have no idea of real drag culture and interactions outside of this show and get overly sensitive and start freely throwing around the bullying word. I’m going to watch peoples reactions still, but the spark for this season just fizzled out with Gala leaving. Worst season ever. 👎🏼 Down Under S1 just climbed out from that position for me.

I think that kind of low hanging fruit ethnic stereotype humor is outdated, and lazy. The fact that it’s celebrated is just evidence that the show needs to change. I also hate Gala’s edit on the show.

i’m not even trying to be that person but after this mistreatment of gala, yes she deserved to be in the bottom but the last 2 episodes i don’t think, the lip sync was neck and neck and they only used gala being in the “bottom” AGAIN as justification no shade vanity deserved bottom twice now too

I agree with some of what you said in the beginning, cultural differences and whatnot, but I think part of the distaste with Kitty's behavior is that it doesn't feel like it's her personality with all the girls, but it seems very targeted towards Nelly. Nelly repeatedly being the butt of the joke might be the reason people think it's more than a simple cultural thing. But at the end of the day it's a reality show, she's obviously putting it on, and it's an edit that dramatizes everything. I don't think Kitty deserves hate for this!

Imo this is the fairest judged episode of the season. Kitty did great in snatch game and had an decent runway. Pythia and Nelly were both also great. Unfortunately, Gala and Vanity were the weakest in snatch game. The song was clearly there to eliminate Gala but at the end of the day, Vanity slayed the lip sync.

Is Gala Varo the only real casualty of Global All Stars? She went home when she should've. Also, tryna think of a season when Ru hasn't had favorites. 🤔 Honestly, when you think of it, this is as standard of a season as it gets. Only difference is how attached we all feel to each country's representive -Our personal biases.
P.S. We were also the ones who wanted the judges to make the decisions instead of the Girls. Should we go back to pulling lipsticks? We gotta pick who we want to hate on when the outcome doesn't go in our favor.
This episode for me was very accurate on the judging, i wouldn't change any bottom/top placement here, and i love Gala 😭
