You convinced me to try the P2 and I thank you! I’ve tried probably 6 Leathermans and this is my favorite already. The desk jockeys missed the boat reviewing this beauty. It’s perfect just the way it is no customization needed. It just works efficiently and effortlessly and that’s all we could ask for.
Hi. Good review. I have a P2, have been carrying it for about 2 yrs. I replaced my skeletool with it. Found it more useful because of the one hand opening. Your right i dont like using bit drivers.
I always liked the P2, P4 since they first came out. But it was missing some tools I wanted. So when I looked recently and found the ARC I had to get it. For me it has everything I need and some things I don't want/won't use. And I work around a lot of metal shaving and the magnets have never been a problem. People really need to chill on that point as it is not as big of a deal as they say. These are great tools and with some of the mods out there can be even better! If it doesn't have what you want add it!
Excelentes recomendaciones, gracias por el video, en lo personal tengo una Wave + pero estoy esperando la Arc en unos días, precisamente por lo que dices en tu video, saludos!
A lot of reviewers of this tool were not people who bought it thinking it would be the right multi-tool for their lives, but people who review all Leathermans regardless. They are people more likely to be dissatisfied with the compromises the P2 makes to keep it simple and pocketable. I do not need to carry a bit kit in my EDC, but I do want a tool like this. I haven't bought it yet. I'm watching this video to help me decide whether I should spend more on this one or settle for a budget model -- maybe the Wingman. To me this looks like a rich man's Wingman, and the tool set is right for me. I also agree with you on the partially serrated blade. A lot of gear reviewers have a weird hang up about serrated blades.
I personally don't like serrated. And I've never needed to use it. So the half serrated blade is weird to me. I'd want the regular blade of the P4 instead. But the polarization of that blade kills me lol
