- Everyone say hi to Woot! He's just passing through; I've placed him with a good family that will raise him up to adulthood and then get him back out in the wild, so this will likely be his only appearance on the channel. I've raised ducklings in my shed before and trust me, that is not something you want to do. It's like a full time job taking care of them! Anyway, Woot was kind enough to be in a video with me, even though he kinda hates me and bites my hand any chance he gets. The songs I played (or tried to play) for him were Wildflower, The Great Remember, and Free Fallin. Evidently Free Fallin inspired him to try to jump off my desk.

Super cute all around. Had the pleasure of raising a family of ducks in my pool, they're the sweetest things. I stayed up some nights with a hose and a flashlight to keep away the local owls(sorry guys!). All 10 survived and learned to fly away, pretty magical experience.
Many years ago I raised two mallard ducklings. When I sang to them they would immediately settle down and close their eyes. I was so interested to see that Woot had the same reaction to your playing. Beautiful tune, and the lovely sounds of the gourd banjo lend themselves to ducky lullabies! Enjoy taking care of him!

Hi.I had a malard.i adopted he used to nibble at your ankles it was so beautiful when he found a mate and they had ten or twelve babies they would fly down my long drive way when the sun was setting so beautiful this line of ducks landing in our driveway all the naybors and children would watched as they came home every day thank you.
