  • Weaving on the Louet Megado 16 shafts mechanical dobby. I hope you can all see how this beautiful loom works :-) treadling is easy and light, the shed is huge! You can also buy it with an electronical dobby. But I like it just like this :-) Hier weef ik op de Louet Megado 16 schachten en mechanische dobby. wil je meer informatie of zelf weven op dit getouw? dat kan bij mij, Gjeani handweverij, Louet dealer.

I know this is an old post, but do you own this loom? I want to know if it is easy to run the Dobby backwards and forwards for example to do advancing twills or networked drafts? Is there a button or lever to change direction.thanks

@@leesharp2760 it works real easy, you see the round thing on the side with the spring on it? ( at 19 seconds in the movie) if you move the spring to the other side of the round think along that iron bar that is attached to it, the dobby runs backwards. So it is easy to move forth and backwards when you weave. I do no longer own this loom, I am no longer a Louet dealer, I don't weave anymore either. But it was the best loom I ever had. Loved it.

Hello, can you say me please, what's the high from the whip roll by the weaver?
