Well they are Mamamoo's little sisters after all. :) Seriously though, RBW did a really good job developing them and I am certain Jieun's and Gaeun's time on Produce 48 helped as they came back to being trainees with a much better picture of where they needed to get their skills to be competitive with other future stars in the industry That probably helped them in realizing what they needed to improve personally and what the group as a whole needed to do better.
They had two pre-releases, and were ready to debut in 2020, until the pandemic upset their plans. At least three members (Goeun, Jieun, and Dosie) are survival show alumni. The maknae (Swan) has done guide tracks for Mamamoo, and Chungha. They are the whole package - talent, experience, and personality. The world was overdue to meet Purple Kiss.
At last, we can enjoy this fantastic Spider-inspired Choreography. And no flashing lights disturbing lights. Everyone - don't sleep on Purple Kiss! To many more fancams and music shows!
I also love that they don't put explicit spiders on the m/v. I have arachnophobia and i enjoy the m/v and the concept. I hope they don't put a "real" tarantula or spider
