It isn't... ALL that bad, but i honestly believe the first version did a better job at selling the "MeatCanyon" vibe; something vaguely familiar to it's original form, but twisted for something much more dark and horrifying. Despite being "up-beat" you'd still feel at the edge, all about the way SpongeBob sings and overall appearance is extremely uncanny, that's what made the older version so much better in my opinion. And also, SpongeBob seemed to sing with BF to satisfy him in the V1, tagging along while BF had fun, just as he did use his own flesh on the burgers to satisfy Squidward, Mr. Crabs and everyone else who felt like to. That's why the "Is that good for you?" line was so greatly placed, as did the Ocean Man motif, it was a great little reference to remind us of who we are fighting against, which i can't hear on this version. So, it is a banger? Yes, i agree on that. But the overall execution to the original MeatCanyon theme was much better on the older version.
It does sound weird (not really the theme, but the vocals do.) the old one sounded depressing like the original, but no one really liked the old song it was always mediocre, but all songs need someone unique or their own thing.
This is even better than first one, my reason why I said this is because the old song of this is pretty uncatchy, I mean by that is at the end of the song when the beat on is going like after when meatcayon version of SpongeBob says “is it that good for you” is not a bad part of this song, but after he said that, the beat is stills goes and fire still but then, it the time 1:32 of the old version of this, the my “about to” favorite beat just stop then is just headed to chin self sitting by the the stove.
Both v1 and v2 are BANGERS, but i personally prefer the first one, banger meatcanyon SpongeBob vocals and instrumental. Edit: just noticed theres a goofy ah beat in the instrumental at 1:30
Challenge: give me a reason why v1 is better. A REAL REASON. i don't wanna see "it fits the vibe for Meatcaynon more" or "it works with the lore" give me a legitimate reason why musically, V1 is superior.
