6th schedule because we love our culture,our identity,we have our language, thatswhy we demanded for 6th schedule to protect that, not because of we dont know to live like people who live in urban,

Most them didn't know that in 1951s when councils were established across the Assam for the first time which include Meghalaya & Mizoram, lifestyle changed a lot in last 70 years.
Tripura was exception because, TTAADC n BTAD are quiet new... as compared to others in Assam and Meghalaya.
Every ethnic community loves their culture, language and identity. With great power comes great responsibility. Still it's visible how people changed lot in past several decades. They are becoming more universal in culture and lifestyle.
