Being an ex-SM trainee is probably the reason why. She might have had the same trainer as Taeyeon. Colour-wise it's still very different which is very apparent in their high notes but their low notes have very subtle similarities which are at the same time very different.
Honestly I think that most of IOI members are the hidden gem of idols. We got Sohye, the epitome of hard work, Doyeon with her beauty and wit, Yoojung, Jack of all trades etc. They are indeed Ideal Of Idols.
