As a producer man, what I learned is. Most producers are lucky if they get a hit record. And most if they do get one, they'll never get another one. The big names you see all the time like Mike Will, Metro Boomin, Southside, Lex Lugger all them guys, are super producers. And average producer or below average producer can get lucky and make a hit song. But only the really skilled guys can keep coming with the hits. It's so many producers that had a hit record and they never sniffed another one again. So saying that to say, say if you happen to get a hit record, savor that shit, and get all the money and royalties off of that bitch that you can, cause you never know. You might be chasing another hit record for the rest of your life and never get one again.
What if your over emphasis on luck is what has been holding you back??? All these producers who you look up to were like you one day,they didn't give up they kept learning more and improving their productions. Do that.Don't attribute stuff to luck.Don't concentrate on the unknown variables.Concentrate on the known common variable,HARD WORK.
The reason a lot of producers wont make it is because they all try and sound the same. everybody wants to make type beats, they all blend together.
