very optimistic IMO... i would say the minimum with rent is around 1500$ even if you stay west side of the highway and a basic lifestyle avoiding the quinta all together....tulum is even more
Riviera Nayarita I find it very affordable in a non turístic area with a income of $845 monthly , single person living minimalistic = basic bills as rent food utilities internet and more ,yet confortable. In a small walkable town with a walking distance to the beach 🏖️ and local markets no car need it no AC only a electric fun bc is not a hot climate there . Close to big city like Tepic Guadalajara . Good vip busses to travel to big city .
Well here is my 2 cents. Just depends on what vibe you're looking for. - Puerto Escondido: Generally, Puerto Escondido is considered more affordable than the Riviera Maya. Rent, groceries, and dining out tend to be cheaper. - Riviera Maya: The Riviera Maya can be pricier, especially in popular tourist areas like Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Rent and entertainment options may be more expensive. - Both areas have good medical facilities, but the Riviera Maya might have more comprehensive and advanced healthcare options due to its larger expat population. - Puerto Escondido: Offers a laid-back, bohemian lifestyle with a focus on surfing and outdoor activities. Entertainment options are more relaxed and centered around beach culture. - Riviera Maya: Has a wider variety of entertainment options, including vibrant nightlife, restaurants, cultural events, and tourist attractions like Mayan ruins. - Puerto Escondido: Offers a slower pace of life, ideal for those seeking tranquility and a closer connection to nature. It's known for its beautiful beaches and relaxed atmosphere. - Riviera Maya: Provides a more cosmopolitan lifestyle with diverse cultural experiences. It's great for those who enjoy a mix of beach life and urban amenities.

Anytime you get near the water things are more expensive.

And what s the name of that place
I'm sure this pertains to Puerto Escondido as well, but with more savings? It has to be much more affordable than Tulum for relocating, any idea?
