Straight on vinyl!!! That and my Dynamite Jet Saloon on “putrid lime green vinyl” are 2 of my most prized possessions! I only have Errol Flynn (released as King of Thieves over here) on CD. I think they must’ve moved over here briefly (Southern California) in the early 90s because they I saw them 3 times (and Tyla solo acoustic once)
I’m a fan, not a collector but it used to be that what was known as the “Finnish Album” (their first album recorded in Finland, RIP Paul Hornby) would go for upwards around $600.
Anyways, great video, gained a subscription.

I was a massive Dogs D'amour fan back in the day from the first time I saw the 'I don't want you to go' video on the chart show back in '88 or'89. I saw them live about 7 or 8 times (fantastic live band) and bought a tshirt at every gig. I also collected every album and single they recorded on every format. My prize Dogs D'amour record would have to be the Dynamite jet saloon album on 'putrid lime' coloured vinyl. Thanks for bringing back some good memories from my younger days.

Really enjoyed that. I’m a good friend of Tyla and Matty, I was at the Manchester gig of the 40th anniversary tour and the other week in Wolves at the Giffard gig, brilliant. A clip of that gig will feature on our vlog in 2 week’s time. New sub here, looking forward to checking out your other videos 🤘🍻

There's a blast from the past, Dogs were the first band I saw live when I went to college at Bolton about 88/89. Still got the vinyl of those first two albums, played to death.

I own all the vinyls by the Dogs, some cds by Tyla, a single from Jo Dog and the Desperados and a Bubble (band of Bam and Share) signed vinyl. The Dogs are my fave band ever. I also own three pieces of art by Jo. Very cool.

Enjoyed that but I'm a bit jealous of the double Jet Saloon/Graveyard CD. I've still got Graveyard on cassette but will need to grab this on CD.
I'd heartily recommend the album In Vino Veritas released around 2018 by Tyla's Dogs D'Amour. It's a cracker.

I don't know much about The Dogs D'amour. They played live in Portsmouth in about 1989 and a fellow student chastised me because I didn't go along to the gig and support them. The were probably quite new then and to be honest I hadn't really heard of them before that. In fact, if I had of heard them at all it most likely would have been on a flexi disc like that one you showed or something quite similar. I subscribed to Raw at about that time. The only other music I have by them is an EP of Victims Of Success. Am I right in thinking that there was something a bit 'independent' about them? That they didn't have a major label behind them? Tyler used to illustrate the record covers himself didn't he. Interesting stuff Darren. Cheers

Probably when I saw them, did Tyla play with a cast in his arm?
If so I was at that gig,
I can’t remember much about the night? Wasn’t a fan then

@@leatherwolf73 If you could remember it all, then you probably weren't really there. LOL. No I have no idea which night it was. So long ago now.

Mainly on China Records in their heyday. You are correct about the artwork being drawn by Tyla, the only exception was the debut album. Originally Tyla submitted the artwork for it, the the label at the time (Kumibeat) changed it much to Tyla's disgust. The original artwork was eventually released when the album was released on CD many, many years later featuring the original mix of the album
