Yes Perfect Dark had multiplayer and it was way better - more customizable, bots, more maps, many more modes. Limitless possibilities. Also had co-op and counter-op for the campaign.

Despite that, it sold over 2m copies and stays as one of the best selling games for the system - add the sales from the XBLA remake and you get easily another extra million. Still far from GoldenEye that's for sure, but it didn't "fizzle out". Perfect Dark also is an original IP that couldn't ride on James Bond's popularity. You cannot play GoldenEye's multiplayer alone, so good luck having fun when none of your friends wants to play it. I also never said that GE or PD were better in terms of singleplayer or in general, but when it comes to multiplayer, yes - Perfect Dark is *way* better than GoldenEye as it offers way more options to play and replay it over and over, featuring 30 challenges, more maps (even GE ones like Complex, Facility and Temple), more weapons, more mods, customizable layouts, enemies and characters. So yes, again. Perfect Dark has a way better multiplayer. Campaign in GE I'll give you that it may be better and more fun to replay, but the PD one is also an amazing one to complete every now and then and feels more satisfying to do so as it's harder. Also IDK why even compare it to Half-Life, it has trash gunplay compared to Perfect Dark and GoldenEye so I'd take them both any time over HL (and I love HL). Sure it has an amazing scripted campaign but in terms of gameplay and replayability it's not the best. TL;DR: Can't you like both?

Grenade launchers and lasers and they will have max damage max accuracy. Max range max health I'm gonna give you unlimited ammo you will start off with the samething but you get grenades and all three mines. I won't allow you to use the pistol because I'm gonna make a objective b saids don't use pistol
To be fair, this was played with mouse and keyboard and 60 FPS, which makes it easier. The mission was designed around the pistol anyway, since you're supposed to be stealthy.

I use NVIDIA's DSR to get 1440p as my monitor is 1080p. The video plugin should allow you to use any resolution that your monitor supports.
How are you guys making these custom maps? I can't find that info anywhere online or I'm just bad at googling lol
They're made with the GoldenEye Setup Editor mainly. The map geometry itself is usually done within Blender or other 3D programs.

Not custom, there are a few other custom levels, but this is the first fully custom geometry one. GoldenEye X are mostly ports.
