    Great video, Rick! Do you have a video for how to remove/replace the Access icon from the upper left portion of the Access container? Thanks!
    I have Access 2021 64bit. I have been able to change everything except the application icon.

    Hi! Thx v much for this video. Great help. But since this is a database and eventually it has to be released to different desktop in different locations and in my mind i keep wondering how that's going to happen about everything I learn nowadays including this one!

      You mean Access 2016? Nope. This should work for every version from at least 2007 up.

    I love this video! My stuff looks so much more professional now. I've tried the splash screen on my laptops at home and work. It works fine at work, but not at home. Both run Microsoft 365 and my home account is fully updated. Both have .bmp files with the same name as and in the same folder with the associated database. The icon instructions work fine on both. Any hits to what might be going on?

      For some reason time cured most of the home databases splash screens. One very old database I realized was still in Office 2003, I did a save as to the current version. However even though the .bmp file and the new version are both named Media the splash screen still doesn't display, even after a reboot. Is there perhaps a max size of .bmp file, either in pixels or mb?

      I'm sure there is but I don't know what it is offhand.
      I get a ton of questions every day, and I don't have time to answer them all here on TH-cam. Feel free to submit your question on my website at: 599cd.com/AskYT

    Is there a way to store this icon in the database itself for deployment to environments that do not have access to the icon location?

    • @599CD
      @599CD  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep. That will be coming up in one of my developer courses. You can save it in an Attachment field, extract it, and then reset the icon in VBA.
