The band started Mar 4, 2006, New Cebu Coliseum, Nursing Week of University of Cebu, College of Nursing, in which John (vocals) a teacher of the said school was in task to present in behalf of his co-faculty. He gathered a group of students who he observed to be musically inclined to aid him in the presentation. After the said event, the group decided to meet in several occassions to have jamming sessions. Later on compositions were made esp. in the time when some members of the group experienced difficult matters in their relationships with their significant others.
ABSCOND means "escape".The term given to patients who escapes from the hospital or health care facility without paying the bill or against medical advice. Also given to escape mental patients. But for us, our band is merely our escape from the pressures and difficulty in life, may it be in school or work or what we call... REALITY.
It transcends us to place to expectorate our feelings and emotions, to express our passion... MUSIC.
