I'm sure some people will feel like it is a distraction but I thought it was great. He'd be a great coach, teacher, dad.

This is an *online team tournament*, not locals where you're standing behind two players and the opponent has to listen to you talk. They can't hear you (and can have their own buddy talk if they want), your teammate is cool with it, and as long as you're talking about the fight it adds novelty to this video among thousands of other drab videos where people just film their faces while gaming. There is no shortage to alternative commentary-free footage, and having the teammate being able to run commentary is a refreshing change of pace. So yeah, don't be swayed on this one if Diaphone's okay with it. You're a team - not having you there takes away from it.
Great matches Diaphone. I already saw the Brian F video and how you played against Snake Eyez. That match was sick and you were the first one to push him to his limits, at least it felt like that. Seeing how you were the first person who actually made him struggle by a fair margin. Also about that SonicSol situation: You probably already have figured it out, how you want to play these matches and what vibe your team goes for. Which hopefully leads to your win. Hopefully these comments do not influence you too much, cause you seem competent enough to make the best decision.

I wish I had sonic sol commentating my games because in those moments when I misplay and get tilted I could use someone saying “it’s alright you still have meter/he’s in burnout/you got the lead”. Genuinely didn’t detract from my viewing experience at all just made me wish I had a homie watching me play.

I really don't see the issue with Sol commentating the way he did. A lot of what he was doing was just reassuring and trying to help keep you cool under pressure. Didn't bother me in the slightest... Then again this coming from a guy that's got 4 young kids, I'm a master rank at tuning shit out.
