As boppy and commercial these tunes are I still think they missed a trick not carrying on the more serious gangster characters and lyrics they had before. Their Lightwork Freestyle was genuine fire and had some people wondering if they really were in with the Krays 😂 These kinda tunes and jokey persona’s probably making them more money but was interested in where they could go with the suited, old school gangster look and sound they had.

The value in this is that the gimick is that old men are rapping, but the rhymes and flow isnt a gimick. There is such a mental disconnect between seeing them, and hearing them absolutely slaughter the track...thats their lane and they are crushing it even with everyone more concerned with their past and whether or not they write....never been less important to me than with these guys...Id prefer they were just sweet old men who kill a drill track.
