Oh YES it feels good to be back outdoors again!
What a heartwarming way to close out the shave, with pups in the stream❤
You make that soap scent sound terrifically delicious, Tobin.
It's so good!
Great scenery, I love that country! Happy Father's Day, and thanks for another excellent review.
Thanks Jeff! I love this spot and had to take my wife back up there. She hadn't been in years, not since before the fires.
Have a great week!
you make this sound irresistible
Wonderful nature behind you!
Great shave and have a great Sunday 😊
Thanks, you too!
Athena is growing fast!
Too damn fast!
Great shave and beautiful razor! Happy Father's day sir.
Thanks, you too!
Nicely shaved. That location looks like cooling and calming bliss. Like your other subscriber, here in Texas, we are getting cooked with steam. Happy Father's Day.
Thanks Patrick! I'd love to visit Texas again one day, but in like October or March lol.
Happy Father's Day to you as well brother!
Beautiful photos Tobin!
Many thanks!
Nice shave and awesome location. Scent sounds interesting but would probably make me stay hungry. Happy Father's Day and have a great week
Lol it does make me want to eat lol
Thanks! You too!
Thanks for the review, hope you have a great Father's Day!
Thanks! You too!
Anothet great review my friend, I really enjoy these outdoor shaves
Thanks! Have a good one Chris!
Hey Tobin! Happy Father's day yesterday! Your outdoor shave is giving me camping fever! About the alum versus witch hazel..... my face likes both.... it's probably over kill, but what my face reacts to the best is alum, let sit for 3 minutes, rince off and then apply witch hazel followed by aftershave splash. Like you said, to each his own. Have a great day!
Thanks, Nathan! Hope you had a great Father's Day as well.
My face definitely likes both, I think I'm still leaning towards the alum. It's easier to apply lol 😉
Have a good one!
Great review Mr. Throwbacks 😉 Happy Father's Day!
Same to you! Thank you!
Somehow, you have brought to mind PAA Dirt. I have a sample and might just use it tomorrow.
What I would do for a 66 degree day here in Texas...fortunate man, you are! Oregon looks beautiful.
We are extremely fortunate here! Mild Summers and some of the best Spring and Autumn colors you could imagine! If you can learn to love the rain you will love it here people who can't do that are miserable😅
@@Tobins_throwbacks btw, Sandpiper is HEAVENLY. Out of my sample pack it’s the one I’m obsessed with. After a few minutes on the skin it goes from good to amazing. I’m seduced by it
@@Jon-nz3dm oh man I agree Sandpiper is so good!!
Amazing shave
Thank you!
Great review brother, Happy Father's day!
Same to you!
Banana bread getting me hungry lol. Great shave and review Tobin. I think for me personally nano bread would be one of those scent just to shave with and not to wear out.
Lol thanks Manny!
I agree.
I meant to talk about that exact topic but then it totally passed over me outside of the holidays I can't think of too many places to wear it out to.
Have a good one!
I love to shave outside-there’s just something about it 👍
Right?!?! Totally!
Gonna go check out the secret menu right now!
Pretty cool right?
Nice have Tobin. I had a sample of Rabid Banana and did not care for it. I love banana bread, so I'm not sure if I should spring for the Nano Bread. Beautiful scenery for your shave. Have a great week Tobin. 👍
Thanks William, I'm not super crazy about Rabbid. I like it, but I don't love it like I do this one. If you put in a order this summer grab a sample. It may surprise you.
Have a great week!
Nice location. I have 2 PAA soaps. Latest was Aqua DeGio which frankly I was disappointed in. Used by new Yaqi Ultima slope on 4 and the 3. BBS and comfortable with a 5 use Personna Comfort Coat. Happy father's day to all.
What's the other soap?
Do you like Aqua Di Gio?
And thanks! Happy father's day!
The other soap was Immortal Peach. Disappointed in Aqua DiGio. Smell is not all that close.
Great vid. I've been really digging PAA ck-6 oud spice this past few weeks, great scent, great soap base. I wish I could find PAA Et Tu. Every 4 days I travel between Albany and Madras for work. 4 days here, 4 days there, repeat. That being the case I have been trying to find a lather lid, but no dice. I have more room at my place in Madras for a "shave den" so I don't get to bring everything home like bowls and such so I have been using cereal bowls, meh. The nano bread sounds pretty interesting. And thanks for the info about the mash up menu. Keep on keeping on, and I look forward to your live vid on the 20th. James- the dude from Albany.
Thanks, James!
Et tu is amazing and I really like the lather lid. What do you do in Madras? The same as you do in Albany? What kind if work do you do?
Have a good one!
@@Tobins_throwbacks Corrections Officer. Albany is home and where I have a house, but to make it work I also rent an apartment over there to stay at. Schedule is 4 12's on, 4 off, so I get to come home for that. 130 miles total, 3-3.5 hour drive depending on traffic. I take hwy. 20 though Sweet Home. It's a bit extreme to live like that, but I have to be around Albany at least a couple days every week to help take care of family. Got to make lemonade when life gives you lemons ya know? All in all, it's not so bad, I get to see the mountains every few days. Hoodoo still has some snow on the slopes by the way, drove by there yesterday.
On your videos you mentioned you either talk to, or have at one time talked with Doug from PAA, do you have any insider info if the lather lid was just something he did to see if it would sell and was a one time deal? Or is it something he will make again? I hear Et Tu, and Twee are seasonal and I missed the boat in March because I didn't know.
Great Tobin! I love Rabid Banana and Aloha Smack Down and I do use them all year round, even more in the summer. I do wish that PAA would do a grape nehi scent. Catie's Bubbles did one a while back, but it was just the soap and I know PAA would go all out and do almost the whole line with the scent. This one does sound interesting, but I do think it would give me the fall/winter vibes. I'm surprised PAA didn't go a different way and do a banana fosters, with that burnt caramel, vanilla, spiced rum kind of vibe. They might just have not thought of it and that's a good year round scent. I do really love the punch Rabid Banana has and I aways get the strangest compliments when I wear it. It's such an unexpected scent that it sneaks up on people and then when they figure it out, they're kind of captivated by it. It's one that people get in a little too close to really get a good smell of it-lol! It's a real banana scent and not candy, but it is on steroids-hahaha! Have a great one, brother!
Nehi Grape Soda is BRILLIANT!
If you like Rabbid you'll likely love this. I like Rabbid but I love Nano. It has the same Banana but more depth.
Have a great week Ian!
I love your comment about certain fragrances are for certain age groups.
My wife thinks Stirling's Bay Rum makes me smell like old man. She has yet to comment on any of the PAA bay rum samples I am trying now. 😅
Before dinner, i shaved with Stirling Iced Pineapple. Followed with PAA Pineapple Bay Rum. I like it. 👍
I forgot to mention how much I enjoyed seeing Luna and Athena playing. Athena is getting big already.
Thanks Brian! My wife would agree with your wife lol
Have a great Saturday!
Wife tells me I’m bannan’s all the time so she may give it a 10😂 I do make bannana bread so I am guessing hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in the spices.
😅😅😅😅 definitely spot on with those spices!
There's a couple new fragrances on the Secret Menu, I just looked.
Yeah! A couple that I didn't mention on purpose so that they were a surprise I'm tempted to buy one of them
Cool 😎
Thanks Big Dude!
@@Tobins_throwbacks This is Sunday!! Happy Father’s Day everyone!!!
Rabid Peach mashup is available too currently.
Yeah, I didn't want to mention the other new stuff in case guys went and looked that way they had a couple surprises. I may have to buy
Have a good one!
@@Tobins_throwbacks Oops. Sorry.
This shave soap sounds like an absolute WINNER. I'll probably pick this up now, just for the uniqueness! Since you are into fragrances, if you get a chance, you should sample (sample first, don't buy since it is a bit expensive, like $150) Panettone from Milano Fragranze which is a fruity-floral, bready gourmand fragrance. It is like buttery, smooth, freshly-baked Italian sweet bread that could almost be like a dessert in and of itself. Definitely one to try if you want something different and unique to smell.
Edit: Makes sense about the Arkansas thing. My grandmother (father's side) was from Little Rock and they fixed chitlins (chitterlings) in the house. I tried them once...and never tried them again, lololololololol. I cannot stand the smell of chitlins at all.
Awesome! I'll Google that fragrance, I don't believe I've seen it and I know I haven't smelled it. Thank you!
And oh hell no on the Chitlins lol
@@Tobins_throwbacks -- I know of, have tried, and own a lot of niche frags that a lot of people don't know about. Call it a curse of being a part of the fragrance community, lol. I haven't been as dedicated to frags as of late, but I still know quite a bit.
Pigs feet, pigs ears, pig tongue, they are all on the menu for me.
I feed pig ears to my dogs lol
@@Tobins_throwbacks I would compete for them 🤭🤭
@@leehaseley2164 😅😅😁😅😅
@Tobins_throwbacks a few cool beers and a spicy salad, including crispy grilled pig ear❤️❤️❤️

I noticed a discussion about this on a forum and was curious if you had the opportunity to try it.
It's good!
The Velvet who?
Lol
That's how a feel about Awesome sauce I dont like it
You don't like Awesome Sauce ? Oh man, I love it😊
Have a good one!
