That is awesome, I wanted this haul to flow well so even though it was long you could still binge it. Because of my Patrons comic book mystery boxes though I definitely will be doing more comic videos this year. I am hoping for at least 2 a month and then if I can eventually afford a studio then a weekly show.

Yeah I feel like most new comic sellers need a tutorial video lol I got so many comics from the 1950s just stuck in an envelope with no protections or minor protection its crazy.

I think they actually reprinted them several times. I have had full size versions of them which I thin came out early 1980s. These ones are marked cereal premius so I think they are different then the audio ones. Where the ones that came with casettes small too or full size comics? I have not seen that version before but I found them on ebay and they look really neat. Those ones seem to be marked as audio copies.
the new 52 batman have first appearances that speculators are looking for like blue talon, the court of owls. im not sure but #7 is one of them i think.

In THE DEATH OF CAPTAIN MARVEL it was cited that Mar Vell contracted cancer after his encounter with the villain NITRO which might have been Jim Starlin's last issue on the series! I don't remember the cover but the last scene has him trying to close a tank spraying out a deadly gas, which Mar Vell was exposed! He sealed it, saved the city but passed out, concluding the issue. He seemed to recover but died years later.
I’ve been buying and selling comics online since 1997, and I find that comics that are overpacked are sometimes as bad as underpacked (too much tape that makes getting into the comics safely has happened many times). And of course there’s all the times someone will mail an expensive comic with zero protection. I wish everyone used common sense, but I won’t hold my breath
The over packed I don't mind as long as they are using masking tape or package in a way to its easy to open. I think what you mean is over use of packaging tape is terrible which I agree. having to use knives and scissors increases the risk of damage when opening. My favorite way to have a comic packed is the comic is in a bag and board properly, then you put that comic in a magazine bag with a note stating to open here then you can tape the crap out of the magazine back to a piece of cardboard to keep the corners from touching the edges of a package. Then put that into a gemini mailer or a box. That way its super protected but easy to open.
@@popfuntoplay I literally just opened a 1950 comic that was mailed in a flimsy envelope that was the exact same size of the comic with no cardboard. Happens all too often. Keep buying old Archie’s and romance books by the way. They’re my favorites. That Matt Baker book was the highlight for sure

Its good to have some knowledge of what stuff is worth, even if you collect it for the love of it. That way you can find deals and get what you want for the best price. Old comics are very hard to value sometimes because they dont sell too often. I check ebay sold listings and look at the condition and try to compare the ones I have to see if they are better or worse shape then what sold etc. I check mycomicshop.com to see what they are selling for, their prices are a bit high but at least I can see if they are trying to get a really high price or selling for cheap etc. and then I check comicbookrealm.com which is not always accurate, but the more info you can find the better. The Shadow definitely was huge back in the day.

Each box is $40 shipped (assuming your in the US) And you will get comics worth $40-$60 each month curated to your collection based on what you want and or collect. So basically you are going to get at least the value you spend and free shipping. The Amount of books really depends on the value of the books I am sending. So far I have sent out boxes with about 8-20 comics each time.

I have not, I need to sit down and watch the series from the beginning with my son. He has become such a huge Star Wars fan the past few months watching all the movies over and over. But we have not watched the cartoons yet, I think he wants to start thew Clone Wars very soon though.
LoL never heard that before, I am not picky at all I pretty much collect all comic books. I do own 50-100K comics though so what you percieve as picky is me already owning something. I own 10,000s of modern book, so many great covers I want it all.
Oh ok I get what your saying. Condition has a standard so a comic in vg condition is vg condition there really no debate on that unless someone is a poor grader etc. So its not being picky but being accurate to the condition a comic is in because that effects the value of the comic and how much it can be bought and sold for. For older comics I like them to be at least a vg so the cover looks complete with no big distracting tears or stains or pieces missing. That way I can enjoy the cover art without something that takes away from it. For modern comics its nice to have them in pretty high grade because they are enough of them out there that you can get one in nice shape for a good price so there is no reason to settle for a lower grade unless its a rare comic. I am not sure what part made you think I was picky, I have all grades in my collection but if a comic is damaged I don't want to pay the price of a nice copy for a damaged one if the damaged one is available everywhere else for cheaper prices etc. Its more about proper price and value for the condition the comic is in. In my own collection I have everything from coverless comics with pages missing to graded 9.8 copies. I am not picky at all I take a lot of stuff in different conditions, it just appreciate that the value I can sell something for is less if a comic is in lower grade and the price I pay for my own collection will be less if its lower grade. In fact sometimes I prefer lower grades on expensive books so I can afford it.

For modern comics its nice to have them in pretty high grade because they are enough of them out there that you can get one in nice shape for a good price so there is no reason to settle for a lower grade unless its a rare comic. I am not sure what part made you think I was picky, I have all grades in my collection but if a comic is damaged I don't want to pay the price of a nice copy for a damaged one if the damaged one is available everywhere else for cheaper prices etc. Its more about proper price and value for the condition the comic is in. In my own collection I have everything from coverless comics with pages missing to graded 9.8 copies. I am not picky at all I take a lot of stuff in different conditions, it just appreciate that the value I can sell something for is less if a comic is in lower grade and the price I pay for my own collection will be less if its lower grade. In fact sometimes I prefer lower grades on expensive books so I can afford it.
