Not that I am insensitive to the situation, I would like to ask a very pertinent question.
Why do women want to get involved in combat situations??
The enemy is not going to check and decide the date of attack favourably tothe female combatant.....

Women were combatants in all cultures ...in India we have documented Historical Evidence of Women Combatants from Garhwal, Marathas, the Hill States, Goa, n Chitoor.. South India. .
Depending on the needs of Fighting forces, Combatants ..we can always ,.. always . ..practice Best Practices at the time of Deployment for Success..Winning the War. .(without Bias on Gender issues. But purely on the Merits of the Case) .

I am aware of the great contributions of women combatants and bow to the prowess displayed by them right from Vedic times. But, the situation now is totally different.
Earlier, certain rules and principles were applied even during war.
But, there is as stark difference in the situation today. Both, in terms of methods as well as principles.
Hence the observation.....
