It looked like Rome only suffered marginally in the Antonine Plague but the Cyprian Plague really shattered the Empire. Interesting that Rome never went Hellenic but stuck with Italic for the longest time but I'm assuming converter shenanigans led to Eu4 interpreting it at Hellenic.
@@GeneralPol honestly if paradox were to make a new game it should either be for a historical period not covered yet (like caveman or cold war) or a entirely new thing, like my personal suggestion, fantasy Stellaris
I’m very glad you used my mod BetterBlobs. It seems to work decently well for Imperator! I have an EU4 version of BetterBlobs which is the *most* complete and polished, and I am working on a CK3 Version of BetterBlobs (I think that has the most eloquent changes personally to increase historicity) that is vanilla friendly and Fallen Eagle Compatible. Then I’ll go back in Imperator Rome and mostly just tweak some UI and localization. …While my Imperator BetterBlobs submod works as intended perfectly fine for timelapses I realized there was some improperly localized events 😬 (going to fix that ASAP) After the most recent update I run Imperator Rome timelapses until 361 Ad November 17 (earliest Fallen Eagle CK3 start) but a couple months ago there was a crash due to my mod in late 200s AD It has been fixed, but I also want to make the game end on 361 AD so you don’t have to press pause manually before converting to the next game (I’ve been doing that with my CK3 and eu4 mods) (although the defines of I.R. are slightly different so I’ll have to investigate that) I’m glad I think my AI border fort abuse-curbing worked as I had finals in real life and was pretty sure it worked and did minor testing, but looking at the borders of Rome and other powers aligning with areas that aren’t ‘tribal’ while also being ‘frigid’ or ‘arid’, it seems like it worked. (Unless your other mods affected that more so) I think keeping tribes in tact is the most important thing for megacampaigns, and in vanilla IR, CK3, and Eu4 tribes are almost always either vanquished or on par with the major settled powers in terms of centralization or technology; so I’ve been focusing on reworking tribes (while giving them the unique ability to conquer ‘tribal’ lands unrestricted) but I want everything to be dynamic and mod compatible. Thanks! & I’ve been watching your channel for a bit now, great job with the organization of everything, I love it.
Its a great mod, will have to check out the other versions. If you could stop Imperator at 361 that would be amazing. It takes a while to record it, and I have to time it so that i'm around to stop the game at the proper time, which can be a real pain!
@@GeneralPol Thank you, I really appreciate it. I've currently been working on my Crusader Kings III BetterBlobs mod, (it's not done/published yet)-- but for now I changed the campaign ending date of I.R. to the earliest bookmark in the Fallen Eagle CKIII mod -- 361 November 17 AD -- (This change should be compatible/work with any mod: Timeline Extender, Invictus, TE : Crisis of the 3rd century, ect. unless the mod creator *really* wanted the game to end at a specific date) -in my I.R. TE : Crisis of the third century BetterBlobs Submod. Once again I really appreciate your videos, shoutout in the description, and kind words. Thanks!
Really funny how the Baikal Empire, while being named after the lake, has the least amount of access to it, lmao. Also very fond that this timeline looks even more alien than usual. The EU4 part alone is insane: Sapmi dominating the Norse instead of other way around, Slavics not existing, Celts and Greeks living so far east, two Roman Empires but not the way it was IRL, Greater Armenia coming back, North of Eurasia being divided between an Uralic and Hunnic states (with the first being #1 world power no less), Hakassia being a major player, Angevine Empire kinda being a thing in a way, Nepali domination of North India, Berbers in Australia and both Americas, speaking of which: Native-dominated North America (based), Christianity being merely a footnote in history. One of those timelines that would make for a highly interesting history book.
I thought it was going to be a big Roman blob fest, didn’t see that implosion coming at the end of Imperator! Made for a much more interesting timelapse
This was a great one!! The Imperator > CK3 > EU4 period works amazingly. Vic 3 was fun but the important stuff that happens doesn't always translate well to a map. Maybe running it with GDP per province map mode would give a better sense of who is industrialising the hardest. (If the AI could do it well).
Imperator - Carthage dies in 45 seconds - Rome straight up dies after conquering half the world CK3 Eastern Roman Empire/Western Roman Empire not having any Italian territory and being based in Africa (I guess in this timeline, Cleopatra really was black) Britannia breaking into Europe British Holy Roman Empire Mongol Big Bois RIP Christian Empires CK3 games tend to build up one Court Language, so this time it's Latin EU IV - OR & OB - Greece forming far away from Greece - Revolutionary OR & OB (So Muslim Communist Russians) aka How to Scare Americans in Three Words - Western Afro-Roman Brazil, Canada, Australia, and Alaska - United States froms from New Wales - Imagine working for two whole games to get your religion as the most popular religion in the world and then in EU IV, it becomes mixed up with your much smaller rival. - The North American Continent is a bastion of Republican ideals (the government type, not the party) - I rooted for teh Continental Celtics. Go Gauls, down with the Franks! HOI IV - Oregon invades Canada - The Communist Pizzamen rule Europe and most of Australia - The PRC carried somehow
The biggers mystery how democratic republic Or in the end of V3 became fascist and in Axis in HOI4. I'd understand if communist, they are expected there. Democratic alliance - ok. By why fascist? And there is no conflict with Italy since half of the world is fascist already. And China just went to sleep in HOI after the first war and forgot to participate the world war. Sad, they had potential.
Question: I currently play on Xbox but I’m going to get a PC and I want to do a Mega Campaign, how do you keep the current state of the world the same when moving through games?
I use game converters to convert the save into a mod for the next game in the series. I have a video explaining how here: th-cam.com/video/KzqAHH-l0Wc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zCksd8r2qfIBjM5b

Greece forming in Baktria (Afganistan) is an interesting alt-history
Or vs Ob was the most touching story, two brothers until one went mad and killed the other
literally tno
I just realized. Ww1 was fought along the Roman German border almost 2000 years after if fell. Crazy
Funny the impact history has even 2000 years later
The Eastern Roman Empire being in Egypt instead is a welcome change
EDIT: Ugrian Empire replacing Russia as the settler of Siberia as well
Indeed it was!
It was the Huns who settled siberia we urals just stayed in our home land
Fact that Religia Romana was converted to EU4 as Hellenic was a huge nerf for her and huge boost for Hellenics
True
"We will be Revolutionary Or!"
"Revolutionary or what?"
I'll see myself out.
please leave : )
остановите мой революционный ор
3 roman empires on the map at once holy shit im loving this one
What a Greece.
That was cool, when rome collapsed I didnt think we'd see them in the later games
Persian Greece is crazy
Three Empires
And Greek Bactria bordering Persia
And none of them own Rome lmao
It looked like Rome only suffered marginally in the Antonine Plague but the Cyprian Plague really shattered the Empire. Interesting that Rome never went Hellenic but stuck with Italic for the longest time but I'm assuming converter shenanigans led to Eu4 interpreting it at Hellenic.
Yeah that was down to the converter
There should be a game that set in the late antiquity and dark ages to bridge the gap between imperator and ck3
Would be nice

The fact that the Byzantines, in Egypt, withstood the Rashidun Caliphate and its legendary troops--wow. They forced them to go East!

my new favorite empire: The Guinea Uplander Empire.
how could it not be Nemetodurum?
😀
The anti blobbing mods did their job
makes the world more interesting
i think this is the best timelapse yet tbh, the result is great
Thanks!

Thats the joy of mega campaigns, I kinda crippled Christianity by converting to CK3 in 280 (had to Imperator kept crashing)
I thought it was going to be a big Roman blob fest, didn’t see that implosion coming at the end of Imperator! Made for a much more interesting timelapse
It was starting to look like that, but then Virtual Limes did its job
Otherwise ck3 always explodes the large empires into the de jure empire sizes
It was a lot of Christians at the end of IT, and in eastern Europe at the end of EU4, so, I think, they replaced Jews in this timeline.
Chairman Zi-Yan Cang was a real hero it seems this timeline, not finished the video but def rooting for china here.
Yeah Vic3 is the weak link atm. The converters to and from it are still in dev too, once they are more fleshed out, hopefully things will improve
@@GeneralPol why not use vic 2?
@@boxedtoast I do sometimes
Surprised that Parthia didn't blob in Asia. Happened in every of my Imperator runs.
that was a really bloody ww2 in oregon and alberta. Also, if you look at any part of the map long enough at the end, you will find italy.
For anyone wondering the Ungrians in Siberia are basically Hungarians
Югра-Угры)
It’s a bit annoying that italic eventually got converted into Hellenic in eu4 is sad Italic America would be way more based.
Yeah, China is where I'd want to be in this timeline it looks like, everywhere else is looking pretty bad.
Now imagine if in 1950 there had been a war between the Axis and the Comintern.
Western roman Iberia, Eastearn Roman Egypt and Greece....... in central asia?!
yeah....bit of migration...
не совсем в Центральной Азии, в Афганистане они
so happy to see this as a recent vid, was considering a mega campaign but wasnt sure if the effort and time would be worth it
My favorite part is that Canada was formed by the Welsh
Ah, yes. The Great War between Or and Ob. Around 12:29
They dont like long names in that region
Welsh Canada goes hard on mute 🔥🔥🥶🥶🥶🗣🗣🔥🔥
Imperator
- Carthage dies in 45 seconds
- Rome straight up dies after conquering half the world
CK3
Eastern Roman Empire/Western Roman Empire not having any Italian territory and being based in Africa (I guess in this timeline, Cleopatra really was black)
Britannia breaking into Europe
British Holy Roman Empire
Mongol Big Bois
RIP Christian Empires
CK3 games tend to build up one Court Language, so this time it's Latin
EU IV
- OR & OB
- Greece forming far away from Greece
- Revolutionary OR & OB (So Muslim Communist Russians) aka How to Scare Americans in Three Words
- Western Afro-Roman Brazil, Canada, Australia, and Alaska
- United States froms from New Wales
- Imagine working for two whole games to get your religion as the most popular religion in the world and then in EU IV, it becomes mixed up with your much smaller rival.
- The North American Continent is a bastion of Republican ideals (the government type, not the party)
- I rooted for teh Continental Celtics. Go Gauls, down with the Franks!

- Oregon invades Canada
- The Communist Pizzamen rule Europe and most of Australia

Nice recap 👍
The Pizzamen werent communist
I didn't see any communists in europe?
@@AbstractTraitorHero The Italians were communists when the ideology thing was on screen.
Have to appreciate the British forming the HRE
Great mega campaign
😀👍
why did Wales split off from the rest of Britannia and why did Italy go Fascist when it was the only democratic great power in Vic3?
probably because of the mission trees in hoi4
I’m not sure this is the first one, but this is the first mega campaign that includes Vic 3
Not the first, I've done a few in the past :)

Ok thanks!
I saw Welsh America colony and Welsh South Africa colony and Kush lasted 2000 years
And not a single Cristian in sight, just people living in the moment
Why do you have only 30k subscribers?? You deserve 300M
I wish I had that! :)
You've got to fix the bug where Gyegu and Rebgong are always the most developed provinces.
I think the anti-blobbing mods hindered it a bit. after CK3 not a lot changed.
what is the music at the start? Also really intersting world and clean borders this time around, you've really perfected this

Greeks living in Turan is hilarious 😂
what do you do in these megacampaigns during eu4 if cathlics dont exist? do you use cheats to get through the first ages?
you don't have to, I just play it as is after conversion
You dont need Catholicism 😇
21:10 Greece, you are drunk, go home.
You should!
Why does that random place in Qinghai always end up being the most developed place on the planet 😭
Rome collapsed so quickly
imploded
the bordergore...
Пейте Русы воду из Байкала, да Богу молитесь!
“American” forms entirely within Welsh Canada…
This is the way
😁
do you have the ck3 convert saved? i wish to play it.
I do, link is in the discord!
Greece pulled a reverse hungary
No one: Norwegian South America
Chinese Empire probably shouldve been merged with Ming Empire
Why didn’t you divide the HRE and why did it become the Roman Empire?
The Hre collapsed completely at one point and something calling itself the roman empire rose from the ashes.
Oh ok rewatching it I realised that thx tho!
Also, Fetishist religion taking over Africa made me giggle
I guess... Roman Empire kinda exist?
👍👍Yay Argentina and Peru exist.(saddly not as allies)
Thracian empire
Wait why was OR fascist? What made italy fascist as well?
It’s cool to see Islam be significant for once but I wish Christianity would at least have a significant amount of land
how did the jews get to morocco in imperator
0:05 - 27:40
Noooo celt empire
No Poland...
15:42 what religion is that...🤨🤨
