Motorfest is about to be the new online multiplayer racing meta. Move aside Wreckfest + GTA Online, a new 30-player arcade racing game is here, and this one isn't a 10-year old game :D

yes, and it will fall short just like FH5 after a month when everyone will be abusing meta cars and push others off the road constantly in every single race so all the decent players will quit playing online due to the imbeciles' ramfest

Hey IQ I wanted to give you a heads up. You can transfer cars cross platform by linking your accounts on your platforms to your Ubisoft account. I played tc2 on ps4 but I was able to transfer my cars when I was on the series s. I just linked my playstation and xbox accounts to my Ubisoft account
Pvp is fun but I've had the first checkpoint spawn super delayed and then it's pretty much over from there. Really discouraging but I know it's a beta and it'll most likely be fixed on release
Do we know if this game will have a in game club feature. Bit like forza horizon 3 did where you could join club with friends and check xp or weekly, monthly leaderboards?

This is racing. This is the multiplayer experience we want… little to no traffic, switching surfaces and cars all in the race in one fluid motion,pre balanced builds “B.O.P” it’s balanced unique and fun and still real racing not link up crap…

You can only import the cars the performance parts don’t carry over so you should be good

if it weren't for this excess of shortcuts, the game would be 100% better, they improved the physics of the game, brake and etc so that the guy can cut everything.

You can import crew 2 cars and I think that sucks. I just like grinding for my stuff. And I know it’s a option but than I will get fucked online with people that do import

isn't motorfest cross progression? heard people could transfer over their PS/xbox progression to PC

imo the fact that you can't wallride anymore isn't a mistake, honestly when I win an online race I want to feel like I was the best driver in the race, and not just that one driver that crashed into a wall at 200mph but managed to win because I wallrided
I mean I’m excited for the new Crew as much as anyone, but taking out the ghost cars will just destroy it, just like how the forza horizons die off cuz of that stuff, all the bots 🤖 just race dirty and take u out and everyone will deal with it for about 10 months to a yr and PvP will probably die, it only died on 2 cuz 90% of ppl stopped playin cuz they couldn’t push you off track and would just get smoked LOL 😂 goes to show how many Bots 🤖 there are nowadays in Racing games! It’s sad what things have come to now, I miss the old split screen Midnight Club days, Damn that Shit was Legendary!!! 💚
Man I agree with you. I was scary fast on the first two games because no one could run into me. But if they gonna do this then it's gonna be brutal with all the cheap shots
@@AgeraXXX ya #1 was Legendary doing endurance races against another faction team in PvP racing, shit was Amazing, I feel like this will be cool for the first yr then everyone will just get sick of being whiped out and only PvE will exist then, kinda like 2 did the 2nd yr of its cycle
Yeah for now it looks like The Crew is moving up next to Forza and pretty much leaving everything else behind (yeah looking at you NFS)
Forza is in trouble imo (horizon had 0 competition up until now), horizon still has a slight upper hand in graphics but motorfest is more fun with boats, planes, and bikes!
Forza came out 2 years ago. Kinda hard to be in trouble after you already made the money
Thank god they didn't use that ghosting collision crap like they did in the crew 2 I get it its annoying when you've got some prick ramming you but for me that's half the fun nothings more satisfying thag making thag ass wipe ramming you spin out when they do that ghosting stuff it completely takes away from the competitiveness I hope they don't add it in later

I like unbound but the PvP is terrible there isn't even any match making for online racing
Nfs Unbound: barely has 16 players per lobby.
Motorfest: has 24 players per race.

I'm not buying this over forza motorsport
personally can't stand the pvp in this game. too chaotic, it's just crashing, torpedoes and wall rides (even though they slow you down now thankfully, but that doesn't help much when the guy behind you decides brakes don't exist and smash you into the wall with him, slowing both of you down). if you've done 1 race you've done them all. judging by people's comments here, this pvp is marmite. you either love it, or you hate it, seems to be no inbetween
Unbound is nothing compared to this game
I don’t mean to be rude man, but this is far for being a perfect multiplayer game. When launched, with the ‘pro players’ engaged, this will be rammers & wallriders fest, like you already noticed playing it. The way cars oversteer even with all assists off, well, looks more like Grid Legends. I understand the universe of Sony players is very restricted when it comes to racing arcade in open world games, but, well... like Verstappen says, ‘it is what it is’ 😊
Firstly, this is in pc and the game is full cross play, second wall riding slows you down tremendously if you’ve played the game yet you’d realize it’s very much so a negative thing to ride any barriers… and I think it’s better, by far, than unbound, gt, and forza… it’s an unmatched completely unique experience that your really have to play for yourself to even begin to judge 💯🏁

@@MxgicIQ Of course I know this is a PC version. And yes, I played it and noticed they have improved the wallride question from The Crew 2. But, still flawed… you can use walls to help you to drive, not to mention the total lack of penalties to rammers (or at least some actions to minimize the consequences (like ghosting the ‘aggressor’)). Look, I don’t think it’s a bad game(on the contrary)… far better than The Crew 2, any of recent NFS and brings some cool adaptations to things that Forza has been just let go without improvements. It’s a game really inspired on Forza, but I’m sorry, it’s not superior on its physics, handling… In that matter, for Forza players, Motorfest looks like a Grid Legends... and that affects the experience. But it can also be a personal feeling... after all arcade racing has many levels. Anyways, time will tell. Peace.

If you are the type that gets mad over someone ramming you in an arcade racer then go play iracing , you get penalised for touching someones car 😂 Asetto C is probably somewhere in between.
