- yet another eras tour vlog💚💛💜❤️🩵🖤🩷🩶🤎💙 and one that was NOT expected.
the most chaotic 24 hours of my life 🥲 so one week before, my friend shanti who lives in minneapolis calls and tells me she got a code and got a second chance to buy tickets. she jokingly told me that i should come with her because that would be crazy right?? yes waaaayyy too crazy. so naturally i look up flights to see how expensive they would be & they were looking pretty affordable 👀
so i booked the flight. because money is temporary and taylor is forever :) fast forward to the day before the show, and also the day of my flight. i get an email just 5 hours before my flight saying that it has been cancelled 😭 i had a breakdown of course lol but i was weighing my options. there was one flight that would get me there in time for the show on friday and there was one seat left. my seat!! literally meant for me, so i booked it. i boarded my flight at 9am at LAX and landed at 2:30pm in Minnesota. wild.
i changed into my eras outfit in the airport bathroom & my friend picked me up and we went straight to the show while i did my make up in the car😅 the things i do for blondie are absolutely ABSURD. but i’ll do it every time.
i met so many of you it was so fun 🥹💗 thank you so everyone that came up to say hi & take a picture with me, it truly made me so happy and made the trip so worth it, especially after all the chaos of getting there :’) sitting on my flight home just 24 hours later i can’t help but feel so incredibly grateful for this community & the support that i feel from all of you.

One of the things I absolutely love about you, Nena, is that you don’t let what’s ‘normal or sensible or possible’ define your actions. You had the opportunity to go see Taylor again in Minneapolis and you keep calling it crazy in the video, but you made it happen! You redefined what is possible based on your wants and values. And I love that. Keep doing it. It’s such a breath of fresh air. I’ve watched all of your videos of seeing Taylor multiple times and I love each and every one of them. And I am someone who will not be seeing her tour unless a miracle happens. So thank you for sharing these experiences with all of us who have/will be and haven’t/won’t be seeing her. @@NenaShelby I don't think any of what you did is crazy at all! I think it's inspiring! It's like we live in a world where we CAN hop on a plane and be from LAX to MSP in what, an hour? And yet the majority of the world still treats travel like we're taking carriages everywhere. You had an opportunity and you made it happen, where most people might go "that's awesome but impossible," simply because it's not hardwired into our brains yet. So you keep doing you! The world needs your energy shining!

I went to Pittsburgh night one and after seeing Taylor a part of me feels kind of empty because of all the anticipation leading up to such a big moment. I obviously still had the best day of my life and would not even have sold those tickets for $100,000 if it meant seeing her. This is a core memory that I will have for the rest of my childhood and my life. (my dad literally said that other than my wedding this will be the best and most memorable experience I will ever have and I totally agree.)

OMG I was there too! This was my first Taylor show and it was ridiculously fun and the Minneapolis crowd that night was just insane! I had the absolutely best time with my sister and my mom! So glad you had fun Nena!
What a fun video!! And I totally agree with you -- the hate directed towards Swifties for going to multiple shows is ridiculous. The problem is the scalpers, the bots, and Ticketmaster negligence. The problem is *not* actual fans buying tickets to shows!
this was so fun to watch! i went to pittsburgh night two and had the time of my life. honestly the lover era was one of the highlights for me. lover is not my favorite album by any means (it’s toward the bottom of my ranking) but every song was sooooo fun.

I’ve lived in St. Paul my entire life and was devastated when the TM fiasco happened and there wasn’t even an opportunity to fairly buy tickets. As reports of the Tour came in about how fabulous it is and all the fun it was, I cried many tears. I have to say it was therapeutic to watch your video. I still cry about missing it because I’m not young and it truly would’ve been an event of a lifetime but to see it through your eyes, in the place I call home, was almost soothing. Thank you.

I live in Tijuana, and I had my heart set on attending one of Taylor concerts in Los Angeles. But, alas, I found myself stuck on a waiting list, feeling a bit disheartened. However, that didn't stop me, I made a bold decision: I booked a flight to Mexico City for Taylor's first show there. It was a big financial commitment-I poured my hard-earned money into securing those precious concert tickets, along with covering the costs of flights and hotels. I've been working my *ss off to save up for this moment, and let me tell you, I don't regret it one bit.
Some people may raise their eyebrows and say, "Really?" But you know what? This is what brings me pure happiness, It's my first Taylor Swift concert, and I just know it's going to be the most incredible experience ever.
To all the dreamers out there, don't let anyone deter you from pursuing what makes your heart skip a beat!
Holy crap lucky ladies! I was suppose to go Saturday, but the last 4 tickets I had to choose from were floor in line with the diamond and and lower level pretty close. Ticketmaster on noon that day were not in my price range. 😭 I can't do fog machines and the lights all over the place like I've seen after Karma flashing all over would make my eyes hurt and head. Even with sunglasses which I don't want to have to wear too much because dancing around they'd probably fall off my face from moving all over. It took Taylor to come here to see your friend. I hope she wasn't hurt. So it all came down to money. I entered many contests. There was a Ticketmaster drop before Friday's show which was stupid because it had everyone still in the queue after the sale technically stopped. I will never know if I would've had a cheaper ticket option because I wasn't on for the lobby and waiting room. I was walking home from the grocery store when I pulled out my phone and there was the sale for Saturday. I know Taylor tickets for 1989 had a few releases and I got one for the 2nd of 3 shows... After Ticketmaster got stuck at checkout and charged me 4 yummy no Reputation, Fearless, and Red no ticket issues.

GIRL I had a very similar story but mine didn’t have a happy ending 😭 so I WON tickets from capital one for night 2 in Minneapolis!! I bought flights from upstate NY that would get me there at 5:30pm saturday. My flights ended up getting so delayed and there were no options for me to get there in time for the show so I didn’t make it 😢 I regret booking flights so close to show time. I’m so glad you ended up making it. Living vicariously through your video while also sobbing haha 🫶🏻

We left New Orleans on a Friday afternoon, drove 6 hours to Houston, saw Taylor Swift on Saturday night, got up early early Sunday morning and drove 9.5 hours to Oxford MS to See Morgan Wallen on Sunday night (sadly he cancelled that show, so we drove for nothing), but it’s all about the experience. Long weekend but made amazing memories with my daughters!! So glad u got to see Taylor.

I agree but i also agree with all the hate. Being in Australia we only have 7 shows through 2 states. You guys have 50+ and way more oportunities when it comes to concerts and such. Everybody deserves to go atleast once. People need to stop being greedy.

Had a similar situation, got tickets as a gift for my daughter's HS graduation. Flew to the concert, watched the show, flew home predawn the morning after the show. Wheels down to wheels up just 13 hours spent at the location, no sleep and totally worth it.
