Our Aftercare service is reaching three times more patients than ever before. But you may be asking yourself, what is Aftercare?
Aftercare is an acknowledgment that something terrible happens in a moment, but the trauma exists long after.
The road to recovery can be challenging and unpredictable, and that’s where our Aftercare team makes a difference. They support patients and their families by signposting to practical resources, answering questions about their treatment and - most importantly - by listening.
Put simply, our Aftercare team helps patients beyond the scene of an emergency.
