Disassembled 608C Corn Head

Eric and Tommy continue to disassemble the John Deere 608C corn head. They get is all cleaned and painted up to install the Calmer Corn Heads kit. The saga at the grain bins continue with the 2nd chain installed upside down!!

Calmer makes the best kit for heads period. Amazing the on farm research he does. Makes a corn head better than new. Here in nc running calmer kit and follow up with Major equipment cyclone mower and the stalks are a complete mulch for tillage.

I didn't realize the cross tube between the bins had a drag chain, I always figured it was a cross auger. I'm sure your bin guys will make it right. Cole the cornstar had to go into litigation with bin builder. Hope you get to use it this fall, we're pulling for ya.

This is what they call a Loup system. They got them right going to start filling them up in a day or so. It’s go time around here!!

That’s what the white and blue fan is. It’s definitely cooler but it’s still so smoldering hot!
