Very nice base layed down. Loved the color and then the soft leaves in gentle different colors were perfect. Then the darker leaves took over very heavy instead of the softness that first transpired. Rinske Douna has been an inspiration for several. I agree, she would be happy to see the work you and others do. So cool this technique. Thank you for sharing.
I love the color palette for this piece, and the shadows behind the white are beautiful…Rinske would be proud! Great work on your rendition of this technique I’m definitely trying this today!
Erica I really enjoyed watching you work this process. I’ve been trying for a while now and I’m just not getting it but you did a wonderful job. I love the colors that you chose just so minimal and yet so sophisticated. Awesome job lady.
Hello Erica, wow beautiful artwork & you make it look so easy which I know it isn't! Thank you for sharing your talent. Cheers, Michelle from Australia 🌹
This is very pretty!!!! You are really getting good at this!!!!! Watching this I think to myself, " this isn't as easy as you make this look!!". I want to try this!!! I even bought my paddle brush!!!
It is so much fun. You almost go into a state of nirvana. I'm still learning and finding my way. Tip... for your first few... use colors that don't muddy. If you hate the painting you can blend the colors together and start again. Have fun and keep trying. You'll find your way with the paint x
It’s beautiful! I was watching Rinske doing it earlier. Looks easy but I’m sure it’s not at all! Was hoping for some silver instead of the last layer of black, but it’s all in trying different things! Great job!
Beautiful Erica and thank you for sharing. I noticed the X shape wooden base under your canvas which is such a great idea! Is you canvas simply laying on it or does it need to be secured to this X base to prevent it from slipping ? Do you have a video that shows this X wooden base? Thank you!
Wow! This is stunning Erika. New friend here to stay. What a great use of brush and paint. I an see the sparkles. What are they? Waving from across the pond in the UK xx
Grazie in anticipo...😊
What is the name of the brushes you use in these paintings? !!!! I absolutely love it! And hate to flood the trend but I would love to do some of these paintings! I love the end product everytime! I currently am stuck as a watercolorist and want to try something new! Love acrylic inks that I've purchased and thought about expanding into something bigger.

Erica. I like the layering of the contrasting colors. Although, the first layer got lost. You're still fabulous!❤🎉💣👏🏽👏🏽
Ive been a student of Rinske as well. You have done a nice job with this style as well.
Rinke copied this technique from Novi Lim, an AMAZING Artist who created this technique YEARS before Rinske found her work.
Nove Lim created this technique YEARS ago & Erica did an Amazing job on this & other pieces like it !! 😊😊

Once again I am convinced of the correctness of the principle of the ability to stop in time ...
But thanks for the video - it was interesting.
Lovely!
Thank you ❤
Beautiful piece, but me personally love it before you put the black on it.....very nice technique...
Rinske Douna's most recent technique.
Love the black and white.
Nice painting
Did you mix your paints with anything or straight from the bottle as is? Gorgeous artwork!
Love it. How to avoid the paint dry up too quickly?.what to use?
Love it

Absolutely stunning 💖
I love that paintbrush you were using! Where can I buy that at?
Grazie in anticipo...😊
Stunning work dear as usual .
Will you please tell me What is the gadget you are using .
Is it a wide brush ?
Beautiful, but its proper to give Rinske credit for the inspiration. May not be exact copy, but this is definitely her technique.
I was happy to hear Rinske is going to make a course for us! Did she invent this technique though?

What did u spray on canva?
It was so beautiful before adding the last layer 😢
Where can I get the brush you are using?
Liqutex or Amsterdam have this type of brush
Where can I get the mold
Lindo!
WhT is the tool she is using
I would have left it before the last black.
I suspect it would be a good idea to change your comments to credit Rinske Douna rather than Shelley for this one.
I think this is my problem. Not being patient and not allowing to dry in between coats
No one owns a techniques
Very nice but looks a bit too much like a Rinske Douna piece.
yuk no composition
😂😂 thanks! I hope you have a nice day! Honestly...
Era più bello all'inizio grigio e bianco...
Not a lot of talent. He just has the Right brush.
I would truly like to see your attempt at this technique.
