Super video - thank you so much for sharing! I thought one could use any water-based paint to paint the stems white. Did the expert mention a paint from Israel/ vietnam? Also, does one paint the stem as well as the branches...? Thank you in advance! 🙂
Great initiatice harshit ,brother i was looking to learn avacado farming from lasr two years but didnt find any complete info,i m from punjab and want to do avacado farming
Yes, Mexico is number one producer, but Mexican experts don't have experience in growing avocados in hot climatic conditions. Israel does. Furthermore, avocados are native to Mexico and are being grown commercially for a long time, they are not native to Israel, this is another commonality that India has with Israel. Avocado is a very new crop and I believe Israeli experience is more valuable here than Mexican experience.
@@IndoIsraelAvocado Most of Mexico is hot and arid so your statement is an error. Mexico has the greatest history of cultivated desert plant such as cacti and agaves. The very Thar desert can be cultivated with them. As for avacados, the are many companion plants which benefit them. There were too many things not covered by your expert the will stifle your production.
Me da mucho gusto ver que cultivan aguacate 🥑 aquí en. El sur de india porque soy latina vivo en india y en dheli es caro el aguacate 🥑 ojalá se distribuyan en todo el pais
Usually the grafted plants we get locally have hard soil in the grow bags. Here, in the video it looks like there's a good and right amount of peat which is probably why the Israeli teacher is concerned about it crumpling and hurting the roots. Over here, we remove the grow bags and then scratch the outer part of the hard soil so that the roots are loosened and get to spread once placed in a larger pot or the ground.
Why and how to put paint? Also what needs to be the frequency of painting a particular sapling? Also, for how long does one need to keep re-painting a sapling?
Great. Thank you for sharing the information with video. By the way, what is the reason for using the inline-drip method? In-line drip will waste water where there is no tree planted. Online drippers could be used. Please respond.
we have used stoppers to block the holes where its not needed, later when the tree matures, we will remove the stoppers as roots would have spread there by then
Harshit bhai, congratulations for opening a new horizon... a nice beginning...!!!! Aap ne bund bana kar plant ko us bund ke oopar hi place/plant kiya hai, ya jis jagah par plant kiya, theek us ke neeche 3 ft x 3 ft ka pit taiyar kar ke usme proper compost+soil+anti-fungal/termite powder etc mix kar ke phir 1-2 maheene baad us pit ke oopar bund bana kar avocado ko plant kiya hai?? Also the twigs n branches cut n trown here should hv been brought to make scion and tissue cultured with rooting hormones to make new plants...they hv gone wasted. Please tell me what is the plant-to-plant and row-to-tow distance for avocado??
You really have an innovative ideas and I like it so you much but unfortunately though I am very much interested in farming the avocado fruit farming the saplings are too expensive for me.
when you transplant, roots get damaged but the water evaporation from the leaves is the same, so when u cut leaves in half, water evaporation goes down as well
@@IndoIsraelAvocado sir is it mandatory for row to row distance to be 7m . Can i make it 3.5m and give more water and manure like in intensive farming . Im asking because I have only half an acre , so I'm thinking I'll do intensive farming ? Kindly let me know your advice
Your soil must have drainage. So the roots won’t get waterlogged. In Mexico, where the avocado originated, specifically the state of Michoacán, the avocado is planted mid slope of hills. Do not over water. Clay or compacted soil could be your problem. The reason these these were planted on a mound is to have good drainage. The Israeli cautioned against compacting because this would hinder the roots.
What a shame, now we are taking lessons from Israel !!!!! This clearly shows that quality will always trump bs quantity, no matter what. India occupies 2.4% of the world's land area and is home to 18% of the world's population, but we have only 4% of global water resources. Whereas Israel is nowhere close to India in terms of land area or our over the top population explosion yet continue to be flag bearer of innovation be it in high tech sector or agriculture.

Why did you not get an expert from Mexico where the avocado originated? Mexico is still the #1 producer.
