As an art teacher, I encouraged bubbles in gathering the marbeling---use blank spaces to insert drawings in empty spaces, incorporating imagined fantasies from marbelizing
There are too many variables with material compositions to give exact ratios, best to use a trial and error method and write down your findings with your specific materials. This video was shot for a specific class I was teaching with kids. I’ll do a step by step with water colours explaining what I mean. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful at this time.
What are the materials that you use? For creating the liquid in the tray, the paint, the paper and anything else new person might need to set up for themselves.
I love your flower! Do you need to prepare the wood at all so it takes the colours?? Because I know that paper and fabric need alum. Thanks for sharing your techniques with us. 😊🌸
Hi Pauline, over time the liquid becomes brown from using multiple colours that gradually mix. It doesn't interfere with new work as it is suspended below the surface.

What is on the tray??????
Water carrageenan
Why is water so brown?
Hi Pauline, over time the liquid becomes brown from using multiple colours that gradually mix. It doesn't interfere with new work as it is suspended below the surface.
Evything is selfexplaining but what on earth is on the tray?????
Hi, the liquid is water mixed with either carrageenan or methyl cellulose, so it’s just viscose enough to hold a pattern.
How much methyl cellulose we put in water
I had to google to understand what you forgot about marbling.bye!
My memory is gradually improving
