Hi Christina ….Another fascinating video. Berwick and Berwickshire is so steeped in history but love how you are researching into events and places which were active during the world wars. Keep doing what you’re doing …. You’re so talented. Stay well❤

Christina hope you are doing well! Great shot at the beginning of the Westland AH64D Longbow Apache gunship, I worked alongside these during my time in the forces. Flew in one of these during testing 3 times, thank you so much for this as it brought back very treasured memories

Wow, I can only imagine the buzz of flying in one, the squaddies were so nice to me x lovely experience seeing the RAF there I talked with them for a while regarding the history of Charterhall which they knew nothing about x

Christina only the army flies these, the Army Air Corps, you can't mistake them as they have sky blue berets, I never seen then live fire though but I am aware of the capabilities these things have. I still have a few photos of these days which I treasure deeply. I never understood why the RAF never adopted the attack helicopter into their arsenal. You used to quite often see these at Carlisle airport too, I assume for exercises at RAF Spadeadam.

Hi Christina, great video! Amazing catching the Apache chopper on the ground, not sure if it was Charterhall or Winfield, which you will know after reading the book, was a satellite airfield to Charterhall. All the best !

They were up from Suffolk on a training exercise, practicing refuelling was a real treat to meet them, wish I’d have recorded the conversations I had with them, yes I’m quite knowledgeable regarding the airfields x thanks buzzer 🐝

@@XhristinaMacey You are very welcome Christina, the video changed before I finished my comment because I started typing right at the very end of it, it was so hard to watch, but I hope you are okay, I can't imagine the emptiness that you are feeling, but remember that it will pass, I hope to see more videos when you feel ready :) x
