@@ParkerSomeone Miyeon sounds really good! Soojin and Soyeon does sound good, but they do have a more noticeable accent. Soojin accent in mandarin is abit better then Soyeon. But their mandarin is not bad considering, mandarin isn’t their mother tongue. Soyeon did really good too, rapping in mandarin isn’t easy, even native speakers struggle XD (to be fair rapping isn’t really that big across chinese music, compare to western or kpop).
It’s really such a beautiful language to learn and listen to. People say we sound like we’re screaming to each other but it’s just the tones. I really love the songs in mandarin.

I'm pretty sure her family still uses local Chinese language And maybe she learned more from school, because mostly we learn Chinese as third languages.

I am Chinese and it is still so fricking hard for me to rap in chinese. Soyeon did a really fat job! There is just a slight issue at the beginning because she missed the 寒 but as a native speaker I think she did a really good job and so did the others.
Wow, Soojin and Miyeon's pronunciation is very good--much better than I expected! Yuqi and Shuhua are native speakers, and Minnie can speak some Mandarin, so I expected their pronunciation to be spot on. But Soojin and Miyeon really surprised me! I have to give Soyeon a lot of credit for the difficulty of rapping in Mandarin--rapping is much faster than singing, and her desired rap cadence can make it difficult to accurately reproduce the tonal intonations of mandarin.
Chinese is sooo difficult,but the sound is very beautiful. I wish I could speak and understand Chinese:( I have my hands full speaking Japanese also learning English🤷🏻♀️
Why does Minnie’s pronunciation sound better than Shuhua’s(No hate to her of course)? Like, I know Shuhua is Taiwanese and has that accent (I have Taiwanese friends so I know it well) but Minnie really had the Classical Chinese musical style accent and pronunciation… Highlight of the song for me. Yuqi obviously did well since she’s from mainland.

Why does Minnie’s pronunciation sound better than Shuhua’s(No hate to her of course)? Like, I know Shuhua is Taiwanese and has that accent (I have Taiwanese friends so I know it well) but Minnie really had the Classical Chinese musical style accent and pronunciation… Highlight of the song for me. Yuqi obviously did well since she’s from mainland.
Taiwanese don't speak Chinese, they speak hokkien or Cantonese and they sound abit different from mandarin so that's why
