Sprinkler Pump Relay Repair

Repairing a sprinkler pump relay by cleaning the contacts on the relay, or replacing the relay if the 24 VAC solenoid no longer works with part number G7L-2A-TUBJ-CB-24VAC.

So what happens when it's malfunctioning? Does your palm kick on put the impeller won't engage cuz that's when my pump is doing. It takes forever to create vacuum for some reason
