This just shows how mich bandai squeeze dbz even in the 2010-2020 decades… From when xenoverse released it was starting to get outdated to see the dbz story again but it had time patrollers so it changed a bit. In a gaming industry where there are triple a sony games,online games that gets updated very often and get their job done for the most(like fortnite even if i hate it it still does well as a battle royale for 100 players in a lobby)there s bandai that recycle dbz,removing online,remove a big playable roster,not even doing the job done homestly(this game should have been the definitive dbz experience yet the graphics are mid in lots of cutscenes and graphically speaking is good only in the bardock dlc,you can see the story mode has still some ugly cutscenes and less resolutions and less graphics overall) they also skipped some story parts like first time gohan becoming a ssj(we see it ssj already but not how he reaches it when he s a kid with longer hair and many other parts. And worst part is that they will include in dlcs the z movies as if its something that it shouldnt be in the game already
One of the most memorable moments in my childhood was watching Goku go a Super Sayan for the 1st time back in the early 1990’s! And that’s all the kids at school and I Could talk about the next day!

Back in good ol' 1999, my friends and I managed to get bootlegs of the japanese versions of the films Dead Zone and The Wrath of the Dragon. We also knew that DBZ video games existed but they were inaccesible locally, as far as we knew, so we just had to dream at that point. To be a kid today coming up with DBZ and getting video games of this quality... Amazing!

well if dbz came out today, then it would have the similar mystical graphics as this game but in the 80s 90s, they were limited with hand drawing animation, but even then it managed to look gorgeous in its own aesthetic
I loved going through the story. I haven’t watched dbz in ages, and now reliving the story is the best part for me. Every time I progress into the story feels like watching a movie and gaming at the same time!
Goku said he didn't see it ending like this when Frieza cut himself in half. But earlier Frieza told him he'd rather die by his own hand than be defeated by Goku. I really miss this kind of writing like wtf happened.

Man I remember skipping football practice some days to make it home to catch the freeza saga new episodes every weekday some days I would just have to watch on VHS recorded but some days I couldn't take it n wanted to watch it with the crew lol dam can't believe I was a kid n that erra prime Pokemon the card game also the dragon ball strategy game also like DND was dope also met friends thru friends cuz of dbz

Spirit Bomb attack should not be allowed to use when Goku is in Super Saiyan form. Even though makers turn him into normal saiyan when he uses it for just a second but it should be completely barred instead. It will bring even more close to how it was in the show.

So what? In the Buu arc he does go super Saiyan AFTER throwing the spirit bomb, so he is perfectly capable of doing it. The only reason he doesn't use it in canon it's because it takes a while to charge, but in the game it doesn't. They got that detailed right, in Budokai Goku can even do the spirit bomb in SSJ4 form
It's not that he CAN'T do it in ssj, it just makes no sense to be using ssj when the purpose of the Spirit Bomb is to Collect and store energy.. Going ssj is expending unnecessary energy
