57:53 To all future European and other non-USA FSD supervisors: AS LONG AS FSD has a "(Supervised)" qualifier, you MUST continue to supervise. FSD is incredible, but it is fundamentally a bundle of complex reflexes that mimics good driving. I repeat, it MIMICS good driving. It is NOT a good driver. Use your eyes and brains while letting it drive you around and you may find yourself reaching a new level of awareness of what is going on around you because you won't be as distracted by the minutia. It is incredibly easy to intervene or even disengage from FSD and take over fully, I think it is one of its pluses, and it is nearly as easy to reengage it. Don't be complacent. I've not tried V13, yet, so maybe it has cross the threshold into a minor level of awareness, but I doubt it -- at least not in its early sub-versions. As someone who loves his Tesla and enjoys supervising FSD for way over 90% of my driving, I am excited to think about how it will be received in the EU, UK and other parts of the world.
43:49 BRIAN! I can get 4 miles per kilowatt hour in my Model Y! (though not on the highway). I usually get closer to 3 miles per kilowatt hour in my Model Y, usually a little more sometimes less. i'm pretty sure if I had a model three, in my normal local driving, I could get close to 5 mi/kwh. I'm certain you are right that the cybercab will blow way past 5.5 mi/kwh for most driving.
With low weight, relatively low speeds and slow acceleration the mileage efficiency will be through the roof. We estimate it will roughly be 1/3rd of current Model 3 Highland consumption figures
On the ”cheaper variants of current cars using aspects of the next generation vehicles” What can those aspects be? My guess is that we could see lower power Model 3/Y with the Cybercabs motors/drivetrain. Allows them to ramp up and get some scale with it before Cybercab is ready 🤓 Combine it with a 50kwh and de-contented interior and it should be a great base model imo!
Brian is my fav. He actually GOES places and finds stuff out.
He is a freaking legend.
Nico to see that you have Brian in the show.

You damn right Marty!

Lots of cars already break by wire
Please enlighten us! Genuinely interested and curious. Do they have failsafe redundant braking systems built in?
