Wow. I have logged in more then 500 hours with this game on Steam and never bothered to check the bridges when they were closed. I just keep hoping they will make a sequel and throw in challenges and events for some Prestige Clips level insanity.
How to pass the bridges early: Wanna Know? How to pass auburn bridge early. When the guard is saying his longest voiceline, run down the left and jump in the bridge opening. If you don’t activate the longest textbox, you get teleported back. How to pass heritage bridge, get a motorcycle and place a compact car, get lucky and use the car as a ramp to get above the barricades. How to pass Blackwell bridge. Go to the bridge and flip into the corner till you reach the top anthem jump down on the right side of the boat to an invisible platform then jump your way over the seaweed. All these work on Wii U and Remaster
The longest voiceline being “I’m really not allowed to let you over. The work should be finished today. I, uh... I don’t want to have to arrest you, sir.”

You can even just straight up walk along it if you get out there and nothing ever happens to you (unlike the Auburn one, where the person guarding it shouts, "I'll get in trouble!" and then teleports you back).
yeah sorry no ones allowed on the bridge god job there are cars and people on it but god job and there is a train going under when you go to the big bridge

Are you gonna run 100% anytime soon? I may be crazy enough to do it some day xD I subbed btw, LCU has been my fav game since I saw it's releasing soon poster at GameStop :) Does WiiU download mean on Nintendo EShop? I'm planning on buying whatever that is. I have the disc version.
I appreciate the sub, so thank you! I don't know If I'll will ever speedrun 100% ever due to loading times and chances of freezes, but If you are willing to go for it, then by all means go for it. WiiU download does mean buying it again through the Nintendo eShop, it will however take up around 18 GB (Gigabytes) of space and cost $20. The disc version should be okay as it doesn't take up nearly as much space. The main downside is longer loading screens.
Also, are loading times always the same? If not then maybe loading times should not be counted in the run, as it's pure luck. Sorry for all the questions :P On the disc version, I haven't really experienced any freezes... I'm not sure if I'm just lucky or the disc version doesn't freeze? What'd you record with?
Loading times, as far as I can tell, are fairly consistent. the loading music ends or fades around the same time every time. I haven't experience any freezes on download, but it happen somewhat regularly on disc. I'm not a moderator for the speed run leader board, so I would suggest asking questions about timing the run here: www.speedrun.com/lcu/forum

I've been playing the disc version since day 1, I only use my Wii U for LCU so the 18 GB wouldn't be a huge deal. Thanks for the info :)
