Since this Volkswagen T4 with the short nose, the low roof & the short wheelbase has a T-plate, it would be a 1999 model year, as if it was registered between March 1 and August 31 of that year according to the Wikipedia page for the vehicle registration plates of the UK. I come from the United States, in Upstate New York, where the T4 was called the EuroVan.
