- Come along as I share my journey through art and mental health! Since 2020, I've found peace in painting and drawing. You might've heard me talk about it a bit before, but today I'm really getting into it.
Mental health can be tough for anyone. For me, art is like a cozy blanket on a stormy day. It helps me forget about all the other stuff going on and just enjoy myself with paints and colored pencils.
Being an artist, even just for fun, has changed my life. And I hope that by telling my story, it might help someone else going through similar feelings. Remember, you're not alone in this journey!
While I tell my story, I will also be doing a little painting. I found this old blackboard/chalkboard at a thrift store for $5 and I new straight away that it would be the perfect object to paint. I have always wanted to do a thrift store makeover and this piece seemed like the perfect introduction.

Such a good video, watched and enjoyed till the end ☺☺
Thank you. I was very proud of the art for this one and also a little terrified to open up. I appreciate your kind words.
The art was amazing and the message was super beautiful and inspiring. Such a great video! ❤
Thanks so much 🙂
Art is truly powerful. It’s wonderful you can find so much happiness in the process. And the piece turned out lovely too! 🩵
It is one of my favourite pieces to date and yet I didn't really go in expecting it to be close to that. Thank you for your lovely words :)
I love this!!! Such a great idea and it turned out so cute!!! 💜
Thank you ❤️ It's definitely one of my favourites from this yearbb
That’s very sad about your losses. 😢 Art is such a therapy, and your thrift shop makeover is so gorgeous! ❤ It’s funny, Christmas Day 2019 is the day I posted my first video! The 20’s have been abysmal so far, but I’m very grateful for my channel.
Wow there was something in the air back then. Thank you. Art definitely is a great escape. I can get very lost in it and completely forget about everything else going on.
amazing video!! thanks for sharing this, really 🥰🤍 love the editing!
Thank you ❤️
My hat's off to you-bravo!
Thanks so much 😊
I absolutely love the underwater theme! I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. I lost my older sister at the age of 27. And like you said, once I hit 28, it felt so wrong to know that I was older than her and had lived more than she had. Art really is the best therapy. Stay strong, girly. ❤
Thank you. I'm sorry you lost your sister too. It's so horrible losing people young. I still fail to really understand 'why'. I know I'm not alone in that and we all ask those questions. ❤️
