@@felixdacat2lmao, I'm from South Africa which is also quite dangerous, but different "creatures", here you're more likely to get murdered than to get a mosquito bite.
Every single person who keeps any amount of fish can take something from this video. From the kid with a goldfish to the hobbyist with an wall aquarium. This man is a treasure.
All of the plants inside and out of the tank make the fish room look so much better than most you see. I think its the best way to present any tank. It makes people who aren't even into fish stare and get interested.
Indeed I've read a few comments from different people who get into the hobby b/c of wonderful videos like this. One day you have a 5 gallon with some nano fish, next month you have a pod of whales parked on your patio.
I think this is the most genuine fish hobby channel. No rich people who don't even know what they are buying or people not taking care of their fish people who actually enjoy fish to the fullest.
The 8ft. display deserves to be one of those. " 2 hr relaxation" videos that I never have watched ,, but this is what it is about !!!! Adrian and Nick's conversations are like a couple of World Champion caliber fish breeders , and the best back & fourth going about freshwater fish and plants on TH-cam!!!!!💚💙
Adrian’s tanks are the best I’ve ever seen, there more natural and beautiful than guys who are regarded as the top scapers in the world . He has a innate ability to recreate nature in such a simple way.
This is the longest I've sat through any fish-related video and I can't get enough. The tanks, the fish, the knowledge shared. What a gift to the community. Thank you both for sharing!!
I would love to be able to visit someone’s house like this, or better yet have my own. So impressive considering it fits a car in there. He has impressively utilised the space! Goals
Holy CRAP! This guy has the most amazing tanks, the fish, the plants everything is just incredible. I will be returning to this vid multiple times just to take notes and learn from. Exceptional!
Thanks for the great video. To all who need this, to reduce the “venoms effect” from getting stung - put the location in the hottest water you can stand, the hotter the better - it cooks and denatures the protein in the mucus. Use this for stingrays etc too. This is basic scuba diving first aid(if you’re looking for authenticity of the info)
Agree with the rant about so called "experts". It's the most annoying part of the hobby... They are normally the least experienced to comment but have watched a couple youtube videos.🙄
54:01 anyone else notice it. I’d burn the house down. Australia is a gorgeous place but I couldn’t deal with them. S usual great video and great to see his tanks again
This is my favorite fish room wow. The plants the fish and hardscape are done so well. What is special to me is how this room looks like it is constantly growing and evolving. Always learning, experimenting and improving processes is the vibes i get.
I’m still in the research phase of getting into fishkeeping but I love this video so much. So relaxing and I just got a notepad out and taking notes as much as I can ❤ awesome stuff
As always so peaceful and inspiring. Never stop doing these I just love them! Adrian is such a gem of a hobbyist. Love you guys together you are like minded and experienced and compliment eachother well. Love to see how things are progressing here.
Nick is just as good as anyone else on you tube don't let his young age fool you. They give the info. If you follow absolutely correct is up to you. They also say your water parameters and skill set count as well. We are all striving to grow Certan fish but maybe our water will not let us like I love rams but can't keep em. Just keep experimenting and learn. That is the foundation for our hobby friends. No one is wrong. We are trying to see how it goes. I would love step by step for plants but I try it don't work? So what am I to do but watch the successful ppl and experiment? We are here to share and grow the hobby not hate and hurt one another!!! Mental health is a top priority for me and ppl can achieve this through our hobby. So if you post please post positive and uplifting things we are a community and we rely upon one another. Also what help is that to me. This is the sort of crap i get whenever i ask for help some twit stroking themselves and not helping me with relevant info.@@Marioscorneraquatics
At 1:38:50, where the tank owner talks about how one needs to break up food so that it drops to the bottom vis a vis to "Corys" being bottom grazers; I've actually seen these types of fish adapt by swimming to the surface and turning themselves upside down to graze on food that is surface floating (Plecos will do the same, too). Corydoras are amazingly when it comes to becoming one with their environment.
Another fact about the moving bed filter is the constant abrasion of bacteria. This creates free surface area for new growth and provides bacteria layer build up.
At 1:07:50 is that fern on the right of the screen a Nephrolepis Cordifolia / Lemon Button Fern / Duffii? I gather it's growing fine in the water? I'll have to give it a shot!

Thanks for that huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge video ive watched the 2 other and let me tell u that this yearly update is a real pleasure ! thanks from france .
Wont take long for the faults in a lot of what nick says to show up, i know as by following his and other you tubers advice has cost me 8 breeding pairs of angel fish and about a dozen in pairing up stage, a lot of money and even more time.
efficiency is key when having multiple tanks, i have 7 tanks and everything but the water changes are on their own switch/outlet, all the lights are one switch all the filters are one system all the heat is on the same system the only thing left is the water changes to be put onto one system, ive gotten my tanks where im changing water once every two-four weeks so im able to keep them staggered and water changes dont take up outlets or electricity so its not the most pressing need like trying to find 21 outlets for filters heaters and lights
07:45 am I dumb I couldn't see the wriggler acara babies when he pointed them out a couple times. Man oh man, I watch a ton of MD fish tanks he has a whole fish studio but this.... This just blows me away. And I'm only less than 10 minutes in. This is one of the best fish room tours out there I think.
Well having watched the last 2 visit's never thought it could get better. Adrian your fish room is the best i have ever seen thank you for sharing and allowing Nick to record it all.
If AB needs to get rid of Frogbit, I could come empty some out. I'm after I far bit for all my tanks and pond and at $10 for a small container, I can't afford it. Happy to swing him some $$ for it 👌
I get it . Its all about the enviornment. Setting up different ones and watching and observing what makes the fish happy. Adrian said a couple of time that he wants fish that interact. Breeding is your goal, and then you only sell when you are forced to make room or set up a new idea. He is smiling when he is talking about the personalities of fish and what makes the plants grow. Very much into the visual effects and tranquility. Nothing more boring then seeing a bunch of sterile breeding set-ups. Thanks!
My family can't quite understand my hobby. But when they see his home they might understand better. Beautiful animals and green plants around you. If I could do it, I would live like that too. Greetings from Denmark 😊❤
Oh and also, those little bugs on the outside pond plant leaves are likely Springtails. They are beneficial as food but also as decomposters, I breed them for my terrariums and aquariums. They do great work 👍

Beautiful fishroom, I recon he could grow a couple of mounted phalenopsis orchids around the aquarium’s too.particularly the emersed areas. While the Chihiros lights enhance the appearance of fish, those rummy nose tetras are the canaries of an aquarium, their noses are glowing , that aquarium must be perfect for the fish.
OMG... this is me...retired. My ambition exceeds the time I can put into it... for now ;). Love it... indoors and outdoors. The bit about the manifolds and using the water to feed the outside plants was next level. Thanks for sharing!
