Good query! When a letter structure deforms to such an extent that it is now recognised as another letter, it leads to a negative effect based on the new letter form. Since the 'c' now looks like 'e', it acquire the negative effect of all the attributes of 'e'. So this means that when a person wants to approach social environment (c), they are diverting their thoughts more towards the cultural aspect (e). in my language there's ç, and I usually "cut" the entire c with a line to make this letter, what could that possibly mean?
