@@incneet I think I kinda got the timing right now, but dante kinda misses the enemy, dante does the reverse animation but the shot goes a few meters off from the enemy idk why

For example, a reversed Helmbreaker followed by reversed Backslide will allow Backslide to hit better. If you don't reverse Helmbreaker, Backslide usually fails to hit.

For example: in this video, usually you won't be able to hit your enemy with the Gunslinger Shotgun's Backslide when you are facing them because gunslinger always shoots behind Dante. *With Reversals* you'll be able to hit the enemy with a Backslide in front of you by *tapping R1 then Holding Left Stick + Circle with precise timing* behind Dante to perform a Backslide that would hit the enemy in front of you. (look at 0:14) In other cases, with reversal you can stinger away from the locked-on enemy which is very unusual for the attack since you always have to stinger TOWARDS the locked-on enemy.
VishisTV dude can you enlighten me. It only seems I’m able to get a reversal attack by accident. Do you know how I can do it? Why are we tapping R1 and buffering? I’m really confused I have no idea what I’m doing. Is this a timing thing? And if so what am I doing first? What am I even supposed to do to make this work?
@@furious_malic7808 buffer it. so try doing high time which you hold r1,back on left stick and triangle for. then near the end of high time. try doing it again and let go of R1 but still hold the left stick back. thats the simplest way to understand it imo

It's kinda funny that this combo was pretty easy to execute in DMC2. But then it's locked behind gunslinger lol.
