- Inamin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na nagkamali siya nang sabihin sa pangangampanya noong 2016 na tatapusin niya ang problema sa iligal na droga sa bansa sa loob lamang ng 3-6 na buwan.

Honestly seeing Duterte get older and more fragile due to the passage of time and the pressure of being a leader, I can't help but feel heartbroken for him. I'm sure many of his projects would've succeeded if the pandemic didn't happen. It sucks that progress was slowed down due to covid-19 but it's also a relief that such a crisis took place during his term. He tried his very best, he sure did. He's flawed, but he has proven his integrity. He fought fiercely for his nation and lifted our dignity as Filipinos. If not now, I hope people realize and acknowledge his strength and patriotism someday.

Truly, I pray that he gets lots of rest and quietness once he retires from politics. I hope he gets to live a peaceful life after all the sacrifices he's made for the country.

He realized he miscalculated how deep drug problem was with even 6 PNP generals involved and admitting that he made a mistake is a trait of a great leader. Nevertheless, he did a good job not only in this area but for the country as a whole. HIs leadership style was what the nation needed most from inheriting an administration mired with corruption even being dubbed as the number one corrupt country in the far east. Not only a good job Mr. President but one hell of a job!!! You have lifted up our country to a level of respectability again.

Obviously, you don't listen to to the president's weekly SONA, which is the primary source for information for updates on government's progress on development, where the president reaches out to the different sectors, listening to the current issues that the country is facing as well as listening to their recent accomplishments while the public is watching. That, including PDEA. Use your f*cking logic for God and country's sake. You're saying that the drug war targeted the users and pushers but not the drug lords. I agree, Why? Because the government cannot simply uproot something that has already dug too deep withing the country's soil. The government's strategy was to deprive the drug lords of its nutrients, who by the way are the users that buy from pushers supplied by the illegal drug manufacturers, aka the drug lords. If the users are eliminated/killed or surrender in fear of being killed, there would be lesser people buying drugs from the drug lords. As a result, the drug lords are being put out of business since there are simply no buyers of their product left, hence the significant reduction of crime during the past few years. The problem with you people is that you only look at the media's perspective who's job is to scrutinize the government. You continue to fail to acknowledge the things that have been prevented, or the millions that were saved for reasons that it couldn't be seen by the naked eye, but it's still there nonetheless. Don't misplace your trust, the media isn't any better at governing the country than the government itself, so I suggest that you also listen to the government's side of the story instead of listening to the media or what critics say before making a judgement.

I realize that the drug problem, just like smoking, will never be completely eradicated. Nevertheless, I don't see anymore the selling of drugs openly in broad daylight like it was in the previous administration.

It is impossible to end the war on drugs in such a short span of time BUT still Duterte did a GREAT JOB. Because of him, streets in provinces are safer. A lot of areas became safer. He values the lives of the citizens over protecting criminals and addicts.

I am still giving Duterte a perfect 10 for his job in fighting drug abuse. It was during Noynoy's time and even before when drug problems plagued our hometown. Many of my friends became drug addicts. When Duterte became president and he meant business with his promise to put to stop drug abuse, many of friends started to live healthy, drug-free lives. Physically you can see the change in them. Our town became more peaceful and safer. Malaking malaki ang nagawa ni Duterte at ng mga autoridad sa pag sugpo ng problema ng drug abuse. Salamat Mr. President. Malaki ang tiwala ko at respeto sa presidenteng ito. Sana ang susunod na presidente will continue what Duterte started.
