Thats really cool. I ve been using bleach on clothes a lot but i use stencils and the bleach always bleeds into the stencils. Next time ill try hand painting it!

The color after bleaching would not be white al the time? It would be based on the shirt?
In my experience yes! This one came out with that sorta peach color and I dont think it wouldve gone any further then that, and when I use black it turns a red or more light pink depending on how long I leave it, then with the dark green ones I do they only turn white, I havent really figured out a good way to guess what color the bleach will turn based on the base color yet so I just try and see what happens! But in my experience and lighter colors will just turn white and darker colors are kindda up in the air
So you can make it white by not putting it into water?
Potentially, it really just depends on what color the hoodie starts at, I don't think this one would've ever gotten fully white, maybe if you did multiple layers of pure bleach you could get there but I'm not sure, but if you started with a lighter base color you can definitely go fully white

Would it be easier to shade in the design or make a part of the design darker on some areas if you had different lvls of bleach?
Definitely! You can actually get some great shading and gradients with bleach if you dilute it with water at different ratios but I personally tend to like the graphic look for the clothing I make so I just use the pure stuff
Damn dude. Good stuff. I feel like you probably didnt get paid as much as that is worth. But thats art sometimes. Dope design and techniques. You should get into screen printing jam band posters. You got the right kinda brains for it.

@@baitball4665 Thanks man I really appreciate that and glad to have you as part of the community! Yea I mean as an artist without a lot of weight behind my name it's hard to charge all that much for things but being this was a commission I usually just go for time and material cost on these so I got paid decently, honestly I could've done the whole thing in a day or maybe 2 if I wasn't filming and doing all sorts of stuff for the video lol, and i try not to take that time into account when charging for commissions cuz they shouldn't pay for that time

Ahh yes! hahaha, I actually had a part in the original edit where I talked about how I got recommendations in the comments about that 😂 but I wasn't able to pick any up before I had to work on this and I had the chalk pencil on hand. Plus it humanizes the whole experience somewhat so there is some benefit for the video at least!
