And there’s a local wrestling promotion (MEGA Championship Wrestling) doing a show there, where the wrestlers are cosplaying. I think you should talk to them about getting booked and then wrestle as The Repo Man!
Gimmicks that are better left in the past; 1. Clowns: Matt Borne as Doink was one of a kind, and anything else would be a ripoff. 2. Superheroes: what may work in countries like Mexico and Japan can only come across here as WTF. At least I think so. Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee are exceptions, though. 3. Politicians and bureaucrats: do we really need another JBL or IRS? 4. Ethnic stereotypes: especially if we're at war with the foreign dictator. I mean, having an Israeli colonel enter the ring is just asking for trouble.
